They can be v low denier, I'd think of them as footless tights, but non see through ones I think of as leggings.
If I have to think of them!0 -
When HID wears "Leggins" she is also invariably wearing Boots, so I am unable to confirm whether or not they have feet.

Has been a pretty difficult day.
Fir has decided to call RP's doctor and relay the concerns we have. We doubt this will be treated confidentiality and expect some fall out.0 -

Quite a few factors:
They're crisp when fresh, so if you have to wait for them to be cooked you stand a better chance. If they've sat around for 10 minutes or so, then they'll soften.
Vegetable oil, rather than lard-type oils, doesn't cook as hot as old-fashioned oils. These days most are more likely to use veggie-based, rather than old-fashioned lard/dripping, especially as the best fats aren't vegetarian, so they use veggie oils so the chips are suitable for veggies. I had to ask a chippy once "Is your curry sauce veggie?" and he replied "Yes, but the chips aren't as they're fried in animal fats" - many veggies don't think/realise that.
Chippy near me's good, but you can go through a lot of chippies trying to find a good one. Best bet's probably to try to find/try some award winning ones, at busy times so the chips are fresh from the frying.
The best thing about our local chippie is that they are really disorganised and fail to recognise that there is a train every half an hour from London which disgorges hungry people, a few of whom probably want fish and chips for dinner.
As a result they have a rush every 30 minutes but they never predict this by putting chips on to cook in anticipation and have to cook all the food fresh to meet the demand. They definitely aren't doing this as a point of principle but it does mean you get nice freshly cooked chips every time you go in there. The downside is that you usually have to wait 15 mins but that's better than soggy chips.0 -

Been there, done that. Problem is that the doctor can't offer treatments without revealing that they have been given information.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. What's the point of pickles? They don't go with fish and chips. If you've got any spare room just buy more chips or a battered sausage or something.0

Presumably once the doctor has information about something that sounds like it needs to be treated they effectly have an obligation to do act on the information - if only to cover themselves against later accusations of negligence from the person who 'reported' it. In order to do this the doctor may have to disclose the information to the person to whom it relates - their duty of confidentiality being to the patient not the discloser of the info.0 -

Yeah, understood.
In this case their is a sort of social connection. As I say, we don't expect confidentially can be maintained, but it might be that dr might be able to say, look ..they are concerned and frankly, so am I.
My guess is dr is not in possession of some pertinent information.
But, I know we cannot go on like this much longer. If I could run away I would. Doesn't seem that's right when its my house!0
