Do they spray urine or is it musk or something similar?
I've gotta be honest. If a neighbour's cat was coming into my house and making it stink then there'd be a swift kick up the Aris' coming to said cat to 'gently encourage' it not to return.
I've not seen the cat, DH has seen it once. We hear it a lot. Hesays 'mau' not 'miaow' or any other variant and has a meek voice but a loud gobble at the food bowl.
Last night I closed the cat window, after the bathroom incident. ( annoying for me as I like the free flow of air, but sensible precaution) so it went round and took revenge in the utility. :rotfl:
I need to buy furniture for that back door and get some one to get a frame in and hang it for me!0 -

I think its urine too, but not sure. Its mainly but NOT exclusively unnuetered males who spray.
I just think this is a guy.0 -
I watched the Froome crashes on the highlights this evening.
I really don't think that the pav! is the place for the Tour to go. Paris-Roubaix is one of my favourite races but that is made around the cobbles.
Froome would have had a chance to defend his title through the mountains and the long flat stages. There are just too many crashes on those old roads. This is road racing not cyclo-cross.0 -
I believe I have broken the back of the pit of despair.
Things fir needs to do: remove broken fridge, remove old kitchen cupboard.
Things we cannot do yet: anything about mouldy ceiling ( no, no, no, not taking down a ceiling this weekend!) or anything about the carpets we've been gifted but don't want to lay yet.
I still have about three loads of washing to do from in there, but that is very do able. I'd like to sugar soap the walls. I don't think I'll get to that.
Ugh, five loads.....curtains. Might be more, I thing there is so e dog bedding in there, but I think I am going to ......dispose of some of that. Radical brave move, cutting down on dog bedding. Should be ok now we have heating.0 -

I need to clear out my chest of drawers and the top shelf of the pantry. I have managed to defer these jobs for more than a year so far...you are making me feel very guilty.0 -

Oh, I wouldn't. To any one I. A 'normal' house it still looks like a pit of despair :rotfl:
It just looks better to me.
RP came back early and was peeved when I said no it was not some where suitcases could be stored as its going to be a dining room. RP said, well, not now, and I said, ' why not?'
And I kind of mean it too.
Fed up of dumping grounds in the house. We have BARNs devoted to that kinda carp ATM.
For now :A. Give me time. Give me time. Its ALL going. all of it. Dog beds, cat beds, sheets from the sixties and seventies, even, I think, my vintage clothes. Out, out, out. I expect to get rid of dog dogs sniffer chair in autumn too.0 -
Really weird question alert.
Where does one buy really short shorts for men? My neighbour has them, but he is in his seventies. My dad used to have some I think?
If I don't find short shorts DH is going to wear speedos. As it is he's doing a really, really odd thing with baler twine round his long shorts up the leg and through the waist.
I did cut off some cords but chucked them out. I would cut off some jeans but his jeans are all too big and would look even weirder than short shorts as cut offs, leaving nothing to the imagination where they are baggy in the top of the thigh where he'd want them cut.
This short short obsession is about sun exposure for psoriasis btw, not some anti style statement.0 -
PN congrats on your new home. I'm so cross with your vendors for messing you about!
On the plus side, HUKD show Homebase are doing a five step ladder for £19.99. I hope this info is not too late.
My news is that we are on hols in sheringham again, and the community wardrobe is selling off old stuff. We bought two costumes left over from the Mikado for a fiver each. I will post a photo if I get a chance. So, that's DWs birthday present sorted out.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Casual ( well working round the place) shorts. He seriously would wear speedos and a tool belt but I prefer the idea of 1970s ( ?) short shorts. Given the choice. I'm not sure either are going to work for him but....you know....0
