When we moved in we found the previous owners dog had been allowed to scratch all the doors and the floors. .

Honest, it wasn't allowing, it was the humans making the mistake of closing the doors for privacy/keepint the heat in/some other equally pointless reason. I long since gave up shutting the bathroom door, the dogs have never yet understood that there is no other exit from the bathroom, I cannot escape from there:p

Gave DD1 her first lesson today (where it's legal, of course, this was taken coming out the airfield). Don't quote photo, will delete :)

My first lesson was age about 5 (OK I wasn't operating the peddles) in a Dove Holes Quarry, in an Albion Clydesdale flatbed truck.

Out of curiosity, which airfield were you at?

PN, today will seem so much better and you can start making it your home.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I learnt the principals of steering and towing etc on a sit on lawn mower aas a kid then later cars/ horsebox in fields.

Well, I have an annoyance. Clean utility and old bathroom have been 'perfumed' by a farm cat from next door. Its been coming in sometimes, my cats don't mind it, we almost never see it. I do mind it spraying though. A lot.

    How infuriating. :(

Why would it do that? Just because it needed to go and didn't know any better, or because it's trying to mark territory, or what? I've never had a cat so I don't understand them as much as dogs.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

LIR will know a lot more, but until she returns - it's almost always entire male cats who spray, to bag territory, AIUI. Female and castrated male cats don't do it.

Cat urine is absolutely, unbelievably foul smelling, much worse than dog etc (IMO)
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

Do they spray urine or is it musk or something similar?

I've gotta be honest. If a neighbour's cat was coming into my house and making it stink then there'd be a swift kick up the Aris' coming to said cat to 'gently encourage' it not to return.

They spray urine, I think. Other than marking territory, cats don't wee indoors, they try very hard not to do it.
