She said my box will be attracting them and she figured I've murdered about 20, based on how much stuff was missing.
Nuts.
She should have done this yesterday having failed to gauge range significantly last time on realising so much bait had been taken between two visits.
Normally one might expect this to be the fortnight where most bait goes because the bait box is no longer new, they are familiar with it, its not scary, and they all know where it is.
Hopefully by the end of this week you'll be seeing fewer, and next week fewer still.0 -
You ladies seem a bit overly scared of rodents. On the other hand, I bet you can deal really well with spiders, even though spiders are actually far, far scarier than rats.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I deal with spiders fine ( I found one in my mouth once though and screamed because it was very unexpected and a bit gross). Rats don't scare me as in however, they move fast, and it can be unnerving. I like it better when kiwi or a cat is there to deal with it.. I am also unnerved by the amount of damage they can cause and the increase in resistance to poison. The day we have very resistant rats every where is quite worrying. Cities would be worst off of course.

We have decking in the back here. I'm sure that are things living underneath it. There are definitely squirrels but I don't know if they are co-habitting with other species.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The council will hopefully talk to bird feeding woman about short term not feeding birds and long term appropriately feeding them, minimising mess and spillage.
The mass reports is really ideal!
My furry lady says that they eat the bird food and that it's an antidote to the poison that she put down!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Why would squirrels live under decking? That's interesting.
It would seem unwise of them to stash where they thought rats would steal stuff. I don't know how good their stashes are usually.0 -

Dislike flying beetles and crane flies.
However, my pet hate is velvet. Touching it is a real no-no.0 -
I don't have a problem with rodents or spiders.

I love velvet! Chair I am sitting in now is velvet ( and desperately in need of cleaning) go dog feels silkvelvety at times.
After kiwis little performance yesterday I have just ordered night time walk collar for him. it says you can see it up to a mile away.
What's the bet he runs immediately into long grass so I cannot see him ten metres a way?0 -

But you said that your dogs don't wear collars at home! Far better to paint Kiwi with luminous paint. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
