But you said that your dogs don't wear collars at home! Far better to paint Kiwi with luminous paint.
They wear collars when we go for walks. I've been looking for glow in the dark collars for when we do chickens and late night rounds on property because I have been using the little lights you click onto collars but kiwi has lost them all.
Its no big deal to pop a collar on them a couple of times a day. They are ona hook each in the hall way now that's more organised and a back each of other accessories.( coats etc) I put shoes on, they put collars on. I only really need to bother with him though.
The girls I can hear by their foot falls anyway usually. Not that little bxxxxxr.
Do you think I can get pet safe luminous paint for kiwi? That would do the trick?0 -
You ladies seem a bit overly scared of rodents. On the other hand, I bet you can deal really well with spiders, even though spiders are actually far, far scarier than rats.
Sorry, but no. Given the choice of one or the other, in the garden, in a shed, in the house, in a bathroom, anywhere...... a spider is horrid to see ... scarey if it's running.... but a rat is 1000% worse!0 -
We have decking in the back here. I'm sure that are things living underneath it. There are definitely squirrels but I don't know if they are co-habitting with other species.
Decking is notorious for attracting them.... it's always been one of my things I wouldn't want, for that reason.0 -
However, my pet hate is velvet. Touching it is a real no-no.
At least it doesn't gnaw, bite, squeak, run around, destroy, spread diseases, wreck your shed/garden/house ....
These furries I've got are very nimble at climbing the local bushes! Scarey how happy they are launching themselves through the air at their target tree/bush/whatever!
Velvet doesn't land in your hair when you're passing ...0 -

She's not back for 13 days so I can't ask her.
I've never heard that, so its interesting to hear.
What they need is a certain amount of poison to which they are not resistant / their body weight.
My first guess at interpretation is If they are full of bird seed when they get to poison it might mean they drip feed on poison and if are bordering resistance it might 'help' process in a large community.
But, consider, they are full on farms of dairy cake or poultry food or grain or what ever. So I'm not sure that can be it at all.0 -

I was toying with finding some orange paint for Halloween but I don't think he'd like it.
Dog dog would love it. They should swap hair.0 -
One of dog dogs and one of kiwi's . Amazing how tiny her neck is! She is so much bigger than him! ( that's her reflective one)
Big dogs are big!
Tried to get a better picture of this.its magnificent in real life. I have just a few still out, but this has been my favourite, I just cannot get a picture of it properly.

It's almost reached epidemic proportions here now. Every time I go out I can find one ... I am looking in more places though.... just never realised how many/how close they all were before. Just saw one who was the other side of my fence.... must be tea time at the Party Box0
