Had a bit of a cold the past few days but starting to feel better. Still a bit head achey, and not much appetite.
Applied for the dream graduate job yesterday and got invited to do one of those situational judgement tests
Very best of luck!
I have a bit of a cold, too - I'm not very ill, but not that full of beans. Kermie has it too, so we've had a sofa-snuggling day together. A snotty one.chewmylegoff wrote: »A small baby (or more accurately babies) bump has appeared
Yay! How's Mrs Chewy feeling now? That delicate moment where diplomatic chewy needs to say "you don't look fat you look pregnant".
Trouble is ,there's a period of time when you don't look pregnant, you just look fatter. It's annoying, isn't it? You feel like you want to wear a badge saying, "I didn't eat all the pies, it's a bun in the oven"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

No obligation to accept my offer either. But you know I'm crazy enough to travel the country in order to avoid cleaning my own house!0 -

Bit on topic, but is anyone else noticing loads of sales? I'm being bombarded by emails from shops about sales .....seems never ending.0

While I looked at things like that, it was more to dismiss tiny houses than to choose biggest ones.... I'd use it if I couldn't decide between two houses, as part of the "final decision/comparison" to come to a decision. I know this one's got good sq footage (10% bigger than next door) ... but it's not just about size. But it is a factor, sometimes - and a nice to know.
Mine was £287/square foot. £3,100/square metre.0 -

I guess the fact I'm single and microwaving meals, means I'm betraying my southern roots despite living oop north!ukmaggie45 wrote: »Good luck with the sale Doozergirl!
We're hoping ours will go up by the end of this week... Possibly we're being a tad optimistic.
Good luck to both0 -

Yes - me too. And I logged went to the M+S homepage yesterday to log in and check my credit card balance - they were advertising a sale. I'm not sure whether it is the end of the last one or the start of a new one? I was last in town a couple of weeks ago and it was final reductions?
Right.
I need to sort at least one results Figure tonight. No bed before it's done.0 -

Unless flat-owning doesn't qualify one for gin?
I have about 15 sloes from an allotment neighbour, and have bought some gin to make the sloe gin from - no idea how, and I doubt there'll be much to share, but how exciting anyway!Sounds like you were there for your friend, N. That's the main thing. She'll remember that for a long time
+1. That's what friends are for indeed. She's lucky to have you. Some of the equipment ...
Glad to hear they've acted so promptly, even if it's going to take some getting used to / working out. :T0 -
Update - needed to work out which experiment some data had come from. Couldn't find it.
Figured I could just go to bed now and deal with it in the morning
Reminded myself that wasn't an option.
Think I've found the spreadsheet I used to make the graph...0
