I'm impressed at gen's speed of recovery.

This week I have been taking a nap before bed, sad but true.

I spent most of today in bed, not helped by kiwi who can now get upstairs when he's not meant to be able to.

I'm currently recovering from short walk after chickens then will have bath. Its been a bit of a rough day and I feel rather sorry for my self.

To put rough in context, nothing like a couple of years ago. Just.....not like through summer has been. I have a pain that I thought yesterday was appendicitis but it went a way and I think its just one of those things, or a nerve twanging, nothing else feels weird, and it went away all of yesterday and today but came back this afternoon. I have cranky GOOD foot, and intermittent hearing in right ear, nothing crippling, just annoying. I also need to clean my kitchen, but when you feel so tired that feeding the dogs saps your energy, walking them still takes priority over kitchen cleaning.

I'm going to try a shower after bake off, and see if a more fragrant lir cannot sleep it all off and feel fighting fit tomorrow :)

Chewy, stop trying to keep up with mrs chewy, time to lay off the macaroni.

I saw a picture of a beautiful boy today.

I hope you'll share a pic of the babies when they arrive!

    Look after yourself, lir.
If you're not up to cleaning the kitchen, don't clean it. Either somebody else can clean it, or it can stay uncleaned.
Remind us again why you can't have a cleaner? I couldn't cope without mine, and I don't have your health problems. But I seem to think we've mentioned that before and you've ruled it out.

Sending hugs and thoughts and prayers.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

When they arrive? Yes of course we want that, but we don't want to wait that long. Scan pics when you get them, please, chewy, unless you or Mrs chewy would rather not. :)

That delicate moment where diplomatic chewy needs to say "you don't look fat you look pregnant".

Its just not fair to ask some one to clean concrete floors etc. its not easy, and its unsatisfying. Besides which I am here all day and i should be able to manage it. Its normally within capability.

Its certainly money well spent in a busy household, here, I'm not so busy. If I were I'd consider it.

jUST, as the content of the house became sort of decent non RP starts arriving with stuff to keep here.....stuff like linens cannot go on the barn and is the hardest to store as we really have not so much upstairs space yet.

Finally, a new issue. Its not yet clear if my op /s will be funded by NHs. Insurers certainly will not be funding it. So its likely or possible we're going to have some financial outlay over next few years we had not really expected, because this surgery ( other than the ...um, forgotten word....tube thingy, which was expected and will be funded) was not planned, expected by anyone.....you don't plan experimental surgery like this I guess.

So if we get go ahead we still might need to pay for it privately ourselves. We can do it fir is certain, but it will mean no jam on our bread for a while :)

You know my house better than I do. I didn't notice that but the whole of downstairs looks a little bit odd. The little window is at the bottom of the stairs, so easily missed, I guess.

I have asked to have the total square footage added as it was on the ipad he showed me yesterday and it is crucial for comparison to any detached house as price per square foot is considerably lower.

Ahh, was hoping that there was a downstairs loo.

We are at 15 weeks at the moment I think - another 5 weeks until more scan stuff! They are theoretically due towards the end of March but twins come early. One of the umbilical cords is implanted into the membrane between the two placentas which probably means we need a planned Caesarian before she has the opportunity to go into labour - we see consultant next week I think to start to discuss that - but I'm expecting them to come about a month early on the basis of what we've been told so far.

    ...

If/ when it happens and you need a little extra help around the place (at weekends, most realistically), please let me know. I charge a very reasonable hourly rate and can provide references.

    And my own marmite.

    :)

Edit: and I'll even give cleaning concrete floors a go - I don't mind about lack of satisfaction
