There was a programme on the other day which lamented the stillbirth rate in the UK and pointed out the best way to watch out for it was simply to regularly check and record the mother's bump with measuring tape.
If the increase in size slows down it's worth checking out as it can be a sign of placental insufficiency and it's time to check if the baby needs delivering early. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

It was on Panorama on Monday. I wonder whether Nikki's friend watched that programme? I started watching, then gave up after 5 minutes, when they still had not got to the point. I expect the point was only worth 2 or 3 minutes of TV, and they had a 30 minute slot to fill.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

That is infuriatingly common in documentaries nowadays. It led to my loss of interest in Horizon.:(
Almost as infuriating as those elimination shows that make you wait for........................................................................................................................ the result.:mad:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
What does my head in is when these TV programs say everything 10 times, no matter how obvious: "We're with Chlamydia and Davo who are looking for a house on Looking for Houses Australia".0

Got through to the second round of interviews in a local job, not going to get excited this time as this happened last month for another job and after thinking I had a great chance, in the end I got the not at this time letter.
Mind you, I suppose it is better than falling/failing at the first hurdle! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Yes definitely. And interviews for jobs you don't get are good practice for the one you eventually do. So well done so far, and best of luck for this one!Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Back to mental Sydney weather then. It was 35C yesterday and still 28C when I went to bed. Max was 20C today.
It's a long weekend this weekend. Going to spend it clearing out the garage. Living the dream.0 -

I'm playing hunt the property.
From tepilo website, through its rightmove link to see all tepilo properties on rightmove, sorted by recently listed and bingo!
Love the way you have incorporated NP themes like PN's deckchairs, Lydia's blackboard, fc's boldness patterning, lir's desire for weird lighting (are they really bowler hats?), 2 oven's for GDB's wife, dream bedroom for michael's DDs, BBQ & patio for Gen, plenty of book shelves for viva, study for NDG, mas and Nikks (I won't mention the unmentionable), room at the side for bugs to park the trucks. Easy access open plan living for Sue. Just calling on maggie to plant a few flowers....
