Quoting has gone haywire.
It often goes haywire when somebody posts a pic that's too big for the page. It will sort itself out when the big photos have receded far enough into the past that they aren't in the collection of previous posts that you can see if you scroll down from the quote box.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

All the last pictures fit on my normal pages.
Hmm.
I don't know a way to post smaller pictures and as these caused me no problems I had no idea they caused any one else problems, sorry.0 -

Do you particularly think the ant powder in the foreground is posh?
We had to check water metre, and red ants live there. I am allergic to red ants.0 -

It's the park BBQ pic that's a little on the large side.
Ant powder or not, that is a lovely view of your new terrace LIR. Hope you and FIR enjoy it!0 -

Thank you.we had samosas ( too spicy for me
) and blackberry tart out there for lunch. Was lovely.
We need to order another tonne of top soil.astounding where it all disappears to.
We went out and bought some odd plastic things that look as if we have slughtered a small herd of unicorns and we hang these horn trophies in the garden to warn other fantastical creatures off eating our plants I think.
We also bought three tacky colour changing lights with attached windchimes, two further windchimes, no less tacky, one has a glow in the dark element, and one has a parrot.
I remember why I don't like days off, we go a little mad. Its something to do with our blood chemistry not coping with the idea of liberty. As we went out to get something sorted at the chemists and to buy one sage plant I was lecturing fir on why we mustn't buy any thin else, then I saw a perfect piece of trellis to make a ladder for poor arthritic mauve squeaker, and the dam broke. ( for grabbed the lights and chimes, I got some pansies and three bags of compost.....it just became a free for all really)0 -

Made or bought? I love samosas, but rarely buy them.... always intend to make them ... but, like a lot of things I love ... I actually probably only get round to eating them once every 3-4 years.0 -

The pic in question this time round is the Aussie BBQ one, as Nikkster has said.
If you have your settings on stretching, big pics appear big on normal pages and also on the quoting page and make both hard to use.
If you have your settings on fixed width then big pics appear normal size on normal pages, but still big on the quote page, so it's only the quote page where the spacing goes crazy.
I too have no idea how to resize a pic before posting it. Sorry.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Bought, brought home from near where DH works.0 -
LIR, those chairs on your posh alert terrace are a very nice red. Did they come like that, or did you paint them? Can you leave them outside all the time?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Why are built in microwaves soooo much more expensive than freestanding? MIL's kitchen used to have a built in microwave, and now I have to fill a space 450 high by 600 wide with a built in microwave. The cheapest I can find is £300!
PN, this is not a posh alert. It's a gigantic PITA alert. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
