Well, she hasn't given birth yet!
She goes to bed at 8.30 these days so I'm guessing "tired".
She has told all her friends now. We are getting floods of offers of baby stuff. Thank god. This will scupper her plans to spend all of my future earnings on baby tat.0 -

I was going to suggest that I'm pretty sure that AM isn't 340 -
Just switched over to see what the ITV coverage was like, and got a Gambling advert! :rotfl:0

That will so totally not scupper her plans, I fear. Those of my acquaintance determined to spend £££ on baby tat will do so no matter what........much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

There won't be room for it, I will fill the house from top to bottom with free second hand tat.0 -

They're awarding the Ig Noble prizes this evening too - "Honouring achievements that make people laugh and then think".
According to twitter:
PHYSICS: For measuring the friction between a shoe, a banana skin, and a floor.
NEUROSCIENCE goes to a team from China for working out what happens in brains of people who see Jesus in a piece of toast.
PSYCHOLOGY goes to a team who showed that people who stay up late are more likely to be psychopaths. [A tough one for those Ig Noble fans in Europe who have stayed up late to follow the awards ceremony in USA ... ]
PUBLIC HEALTH goes to two teams for studying whether or not it is dangerous to live with a cat.0 -

I like Huw Edwards - don't like Andrew Marr, though, he's far too much of an appalling hypocrite for my taste.
I feel a bit sorry for them, having to blether non-stop about nothing for hours!
I think the (rather wonderful) Scottish word is 'haver' for blather. I used to know a Scottish girl who used to accuse me of havering quite frequently.0
