Maybe I should make wind chimes etc (in the longer-term) and things that make noises, to hang around the shed/base and sides.... or do they get used to some noises? I just don't ever want to see another one again, once this lot have been sent packing. So it's Operation Deter.
They get used to noises, consider, they live in busy cities and noisey farm yards. They do not like irregular disturbance, and predation, which is why terrier s and hunting cats are good. Both will sit and look, or chase for a loooooooooong time, and never give it up as a good game.0 -

So no.
Did you spend more than a pony on your car?
They is a sort of scale where we can sort of expect lots of things...lowest price is unlikely to be good, mid price is likely to be adaquate but not too flash, second most expensive sort of range will be best most people want of most things ever, even if they are rich beyond dreams and most expensive is a waste of money for all but the conisseur or wannabe.0 -

I needed/wanted a car and bought what I had experienced .... was used to.
For food ... if I walk in a shop I choose cheese, not ham, as I've experienced lots of cheddar and it's always good and I like it.0 -

Posh alert, pn, a pony is £25 quid, to the non posh.I was pointing out you didn't buy a banger, for a reason.

And a more expensive one is better.
A monkey is £500. Is a nicker a quid? I cannot remember any others off the top of my head though I think I would in conversation.0 -

As a single female, a more expensive car than the £300-400 cars I'd had in the previous 20 years of driving, was more likely to be reliable as I was travelling 200 miles to work (Mon/Fri) when I first spent £6k on a car - and then, potentially, driving 'anywhere' with the car laden with all my worldly goods for this one I've now got, which cost me £5k in 2010.0 -

I agree, I am absolutely NOT knocking your choice, I think it was sensible. It was the car choice example of a more expensive ham. Not a banger with the slimey left over bits smoshed together. I personally think that sort of ham machine made ( which is different to old ways of things like brawn, which I still don't personally like but recognise as a different product ) is not really very nice.
I also think even if people like ham they shouldn't eat it that often. Nitrates and so on.0 -

I used it whilst away on holiday. It did everything I threw at it. (Browsing, Word, Excel, Outlook.)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Had a phone call ... and the FurryLady is coming Thu between 9 and 1. This means that plans I had for that day are now unlikely to come to fruition.
£30. *annoyed*
Well, getting rid of furries is more important.0
