We've made Thursday sunsets ( or seven thirty ) official time to take ' a minute for Spirit'

Collective thoughts, hopes, vibes, prayers....what ever people to choose to do.

Thursday was the day Spirit had just started to think of as her visiting nice people day :) so it seems appropriate :)

Everything I read about this says there are often huge improvements in the weeks and months following strokes.

I also heard that the optimal amount of physiotherapy and speech therapy is usually around 100 hours. Unfortunately, the NHS will only provide around 10 hours, if that. But it may be worth looking at providing more privately, if that is not a dirty word!

    Lots of info here https://www.stroke.org.uk/about/life-after-stroke

I have a plague of flies.

They have all decided to sit on my white curtains.

Trying to decide whether its worth washing them when I'll have to take them down in a couple of weeks and wash them to put away anyway, or live with it for a fortnight ish.

I have several of my own, but they aren't keeping up with demand!

I also put up three fly strips this morning ( I often have one up). Its the time of year, Flies like dairy cows, dairy cows are giving birth near by, which is encouraging to them, and the sudden increase in heat meant a sudden rush of flies, which is always some how worse.

Good to hear from you Spirit.

Much less importantly I hate our car. Practically it suits us better than any other but reliability....latest is that it does need a new turbo at least 600 quid and the underlying problem is a blocked dpf another 400 minimum although it remains in Lear why the computer has never reported a dpf problem. Car is not worth much more than 2k plus has loads of dings and scratches and broken trim inside. So what to do when not sure what to replace with. Generally after each repair I think well at least that bit shouldn't go wrong again and better to stay with what you know than buy someone else's getting rid of for a reason but now I'm not so sure.
    I think....

White curtains in the city need washing very regularly anyway because of general atmosphere filth. And people buss about like flies.

Solves neither of my problems and no cute baby calves/up and coming steaks to go gaga over either.

He's cracking on out there now, you know nice people, good news there. We might run out of the pavers though.

Its starting to look good. A bit twee, but that will sort itself out with time.
