    Car's gone :(

Bit gutted. It's little things, like the Rowing Club I was talking about joining. The bloke never got back to me, so I was going to follow that up now the dissertation and portfolio is in; but can't now as there is no way I can get there.

Need to ring the insurance company in a bit to get a refund, and I can get a month's road tax back (I don't think tax discs will become collectible :D ). The money will actually come in really handy.

It's all a bit sad but I think it will spur me on with job applications. Done four this week so far, but need to be doing a lot more than that really. Must get cracking.

Generally after each repair I think well at least that bit shouldn't go wrong again and better to stay with what you know than buy someone else's getting rid of for a reason but now I'm not so sure.

We take the view that once things start going wrong, they will continue to go wrong and it's better to cut your losses and get rid. The only time that would be over-ridden is if you put a gearbox or engine in.

It doesn't make sense to me to shell out 600 + 400 on a car that may have another problem in a months time.

Have you asked on the motoring board what they recommend?

    That's great news! :j
He's cracking on out there now, you know nice people, good news there. We might run out of the pavers though.

Its starting to look good. A bit twee, but that will sort itself out with time.

    Photos when finished please!

    Will be off soon.

Have probe with computer (on kindle) it says can't connect to internet in both chrome and internet explorer. But can get mail in thunderbird, even including remote data. Am wondering if last night's Microsoft update has f -ed up something. No time to do anything now as must finish packing.

    See you later! ;)

When I scrapped the Punto, I got £200 for it, and your one is bigger so should be worth more. My general view is that Fiats are worth more dead than alive.
