I thihnk I've found the definition of bravery ( for me): I've posted on the Scotland thread.......I don't know wether I should re-visit or head to Trucknet, where the truckers are infinitely tamer.

Another definition is to have an opinion on parenting/kids .... when you don't have any of your own :)

It was fascinating to see how other road users responded to the different vehicles; it seems the type of vehicle you drive really must say something about you:whistle:

Personally, I'd say the way road users respond to different vehicles says a lot about them.

Well. Not sure whether he reads Mse, but he's going like the clappers now. Might finish the terrace today, then just the raised beds to finish.

When I scrapped the Astra, I got almost as much as I had paid for it 5 (or was it 6) years before!

Now that is true Bangernomics, and extremely MSE!

How long did you have it for Sue?

ETA: Ignore the question, I'm tired, and therefore can't read :)

I try to be zen about possessions and mostly not that fussed, they are transient objects that's all.

I really miss the VX220 and the F88 though - so the zen thing needs a bit more work.:o

I am definitely getting more like that the older I get.

Good to read. :)Like GB, we have had 2 family members who both have had a few so if you want any anecdotal, feel free to ask.

Also good to read about Zag and Sues teens settling in.

Good news on the paving LIR (and the big sleep). So satisfying when a project gets finished on time, to budget and to spec :)

    Well done.... :T

    From the BBC -

Hello and welcome to the BBC's live coverage of the verdict in the trial of South African athlete Oscar Pistorius.

This is so inappropriate. They are treating it like a circus, and at the end of it the lady judge will hold her thumb up or down.

We were watching it in the canteen over lunch. She hasn't even done the whole verdict - said not guilty on the murder charge, said he was negligent, and then said that she'll deliver the verdict on manslaughter tomorrow. It's not as if she hasn't had a long time to think about it! Absolute farce.

Did he do the fiddly bits round the edge before, and he's doing the easy bit in the middle at the moment? Then he might slow down again when he reaches the other edge?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
