Mrs Chewy had cod and chips so that is more likely to be the cause.

    Hmmmm. Sounds fishy to me.

    Big congrats chewy.

They're not even trying to eat you. Shark 'attacks' on swimmers are almost always by juveniles who are investigating what you are. Their mouths are their most sensitive area but unfortunately are also full of razor sharp teeth.

I'm not sure it would be much consolation to know that you were being ripped to pieces other than for the purpose of being lunch.
I'll just have to see what I stumble across. The cost of cushions is horrendous - imho out of step with what you're getting ... so it'll be awhile before I stumble across something that [a] I like isn't expensive. No worries, I'm happy for it to be "as is" anyway.

What sort of cushions would you like, though? Plain, patterned, embroidered? What colour? Then we can all keep an eye out for you!

ASD family members seem to be another "NP thing" along with Jewish family members etc. A lot of us seem to have dyslexic kids too.

No ASD in my family, or OH's, but I'm dyslexic, as was OH's mother, and Isaac is, too. I think you might be right.

Old Ma Generali would be very upset so sadly I cannot offer my services.

I can't remember Gen - do you have siblings?

Happy birthday to Gen-let (F), by the way.

Have they said when she can come out of hospital yet? Just getting home must help her feel a little bit happier.

I don't think she's quite at that stage yet, unfortunately. When she texted today Miss Spirit was with her, though, which was great.

I think I'd rather be lunch than ripped to bits just for the hell of it. At least I'd be enjoyed that way. Not that there's much meat on me.

Congrats Chewie, very happy for you.

I'm not really looking out for cushions. I couldn't say what I'd like, I'd have to see it to know it.... but I'm not actually looking. If I stumble across some in the next 2-3 years that's fine.
  • Still on kindle hence terse.

Many congrats Chewy and Mrs Chewy. You better start saving - 2 of everything car seats expensive. We have grand twins, that came out as brandy wine first time, hate predictive text rolls eyes.

Home to power probs in utility room fridge freezer off so goodbye a lot of stuff. Not sure we 'll claim, see what it was.

3rd thing one of narrows from little rotted to liquid in kitchen.

Dentist tomorrow (and cAr mot) what could possibly go wrong?
  • Well I didn't hear anything about the job today, but that doesn't matter much.

I did get some better news...after a horrid miscarriage and subsequent surgery during the week we exchanged on the house and spending most of the last 12 weeks with OH in pieces every 5 minutes as she was convinced she was miscarrying again (for pretty good reason), we had our 12 week scan today.

Everything is fine, lowest possible statistical risk of downs and it all looks good and this is obviously all down, to the NP good vibes. Just stuffed myself with pie and chips to celebrate.

That's utterly fantastic, many congratulations to both you and Mrs Chewy! I hope Mrs Chewy's OK? Happy, healthy, not too sick or tired? Is that why you had the out-laws over?

I really do like my sons. They are good company when older (Isaac) and very sweet when younger (Kermie). I can heartily recommend parenthood to you both!
    Well, actually...NP babies numbers 2 and 3.

    Congratulations again! Congratulations squared.

Did you know it was a BOGOF before the scan today?

Blimey, the pair of you don't do things by halves, once you get going! Did you have fertility treatment, clomid or something? You were posting about infertility-related investigations before.

Or better to be in the banking sector, so as to be able to afford enormous amounts of paid help? It's a tough one to call.

I've only ever had one at a time, and two in total - but I do think that Mrs Chewy will need help every day once paternity leave is over, for up to about a year. Her parents being abroad, I mean, so not much assistance from there.

I remember reading that a mother of newborn twins really does more or less need help all every day until about 10 - 12 months.

Huge congratulations Chewy and Mrs Chewy!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

She is sleeping a lot but only had a bit of mild nausea for a week, and not throwing up. The outlaws don't know yet, they just happened to be here...

Yah they were also scanned at 5, 7, 9 and 10 weeks! To be blunt, there was a lot of bleeding early on, so we kept going to hospital. They are the most scanned foetuses ever I think.

Nope, all natural. We only had an initial consultation re: fertility stuff then she got pregnant the first time.

I think her parents will come over here for the first 2 months then she'll fly back to Aus with them for another 2 months or so - at least that's what she wants to do now. She will also have a couple of friends nearby on mat leave at the same time which will help. God knows how we will cope, I can hardly dress myself.
