I get told I have a kind face, so people naturally want to pour out their troubles. Except that is if I travel to somewhere abroad or deal with schizophrenics. Abroad I've had people run away from me as I have "the evil eye" and some schizophrenic people won't look at me because they think I can see through them (again it's down to my eye colour).
I haven't got a particularly grumpy countenance I don't think. In fact I tend to smile quite a lot.0 -

Nor does he.. I can't explain it really. He just has a very positive way of walking around. I guess it could best be described as he moves assertively, and can even do it while smiling... but people don't get in his way. It's not even a height thing. He's about 5'10", perhaps a little taller but definitely not six foot or more. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Cold enough to consider lighting the fire later.0 -
Etiquette enquiry.
Someone is building the herb beds for us. Today , behind the bit he's not doing much to bar a single board, in place, but not concreted, we tidied, weeded and lightly turned over soil.
I cannot imaging this guy will ever finish. He is slower than a sloth. Its very tempting to mulch so we can forget about this bed ( apart from wood stain / painting which we are doing ) til spring.
Would it be very poor manners to do it today? We reckon fourteen wheel barrows for this bed.0 -
Happens to us all I'm afraid. I'm a big fan of the musician David Byrne and in his blog the same happens to him when he travels by bus in London.
OTOH, if anybody I know is visiting london, I always recommend travelling by double-decker in the city centre. The city's a spectacle. The underground's a waste of a journey.
I was taken on a double Decker tour of London yesterday. Was transport between a wedding and a reception. I am currently making one of my most extravagant trips ever across London. It's quite good fun when you're not counting your pennies0 -

I'm trying to work that one out. Maybe, just maybe, you bought a pair of Christian Louboutin rollerskates? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
