The South Korean cars have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years.
Just like Samsung and LG have.
I was in a Kia C'eed taxi in Cambridge on Weds, and was amazed at it being Korean when I asked the driver what it was.
Gone from earlies, to splits, to earlies this week, not working today, but my sleeping pattern is completely messed up💙💛 💔0 -

But the police like doing it, such as when they execute search warrants or arrest people for, say, fraud or theft. It's not likely others will come forward in those cases in the same way.
Here, where they've not even interviewed him, it seems pretty iffy, I reckon.
Guilty of the well-known offence of being the local weirdo, I think. Contrary s.12 of the well-known Hysteria in the Media Quick Do Something Act 1992.
IIRC, Colin Stagg was guilty of the same offence.0 -
Pastures thinking of "that time" is understandable and the memories can be very clear and sharp...so it feels like only yesterday, and it was only three years ago.
I was triggered to recall events from 25 years ago earlier this week..it was painful and took a couple of days for the sad feelings to leave me again.
When there are days/events that make reflection and reminiscence sad, it is good to have places such as the NP thread where you can say what is on your mind, have empathetic listeners, posts about NP life that remind you of good in the world (fc's post about her Mum's op was wonderful) and offers of hugs, dodgy or otherwise.0 -

Not brave, just easily sucked in by the words "easy" and a youtube video ..... I'm a sucker for believing hype
They give you a 1 minute video: http://www.nabru.co.uk/self_assembly
Should only take me 4 days to get it right
I just watched that .... looks super easy0 -
In our front yard this morning:
As long as I've lived here, whenever I see a parakeet or a parrot I think, "Someone's going to miss their pet".0 -

Kiwi has a new 'game'. Its called 'hide and seek' he hides. We seek.
Its more fun for him than us.
Last night I had to leave him to go and get fir from the station, just taking the girls. ( thank fully RP found him, then kiwi hid again, twice).
When we got back ( knowing he was ok we stayed out a while) kiwi did excellent dancing and grinning. Fir slipped him the last bite of a Twinkie ( yuk) and he thought it was amazing. It seemed to stick to the roof of his mouth for while which delighted him. He licked his lips for about forty five minutes afterwards and he rested his head on fir for ages afterwards. ( still licking lips hopefully) It seems however well fed the individual junk food can win them over.
This morning he's hidden already. I hope he's found something useful to do, some vermin or something.0 -

I saw him in an interview, and he did not seem in the least bit weird. He had also spruced himself up and looked perfectly respectable.
At the time, I remember the school's response was both to defend him and to take one step back from the firing line.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

The irony of marketing a flat pack sofa as 'easy'. Most companies do easy by delivering sofas intact.
For fear of upsetting you, they don't look very comfortable. Are you able to sit on one, somewhere? They look a bit like waiting room type sofas. I don't like the idea that the base of the cushion you sit on is a slab of wood.
I know you don't like eBay that much, but my solution to a limited budget is usually to buy better quality second-hand. I've just bought two lovely sofas for £280. Everybody who has been in thinks that they're new.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
