There's a (trolling) thread about them in the debate forum
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2715106/Superboomers-50s-relishing-good-life-Generation-leading-subtle-changes-society-wealthier-healthier-previously.htmlThere's a thread on the debate board about them:
Often carefree, cash-rich and keen to hang on to their youthful vigour, Britain’s over-50s have been dubbed the ‘Superboomers’.
Wealthier, healthier and more active than their predecessors, a report says this generation are leading subtle shifts in society.
Having climbed the career ladder when the economy was booming, this group has a respect for life experience and the insights that come with age, it is said.

Still at it, what is a Trolling Thread?
From the Daily mail article : Major fashion brands are choosing older women and men to front advertising campaigns as grey hair is reclaimed as a sign of a ‘hip, defiant, pro-age’ attitude.

We did the house next door. The guy doing this one sat in the window wolf whistling at women. He'd already started when we did and we were out within three months - a year ago. We didn't build an extension - they aleady had the typical terrace extension with kitchen and upstairs bathroom - the house doesn't warrant it, plus it's useless. It's just been finished! He was employed by the owner to do it, so it's not a DIY job.
I can only presume the owner payed peanuts. the bathroom looks nice, the house is fine, but the kitchen looks like a kid let loose with lego.Don't know...I just roam the high street with my Tinder app and if we both swipe left (or right), we're off. Not that bovvered with age. :A

Lots of thunder rumbling here.
Tonight we have a group of 14 of us going to an outdoor event held at a local farm ....wellies me thinks.0 -
What is picture 6? I can't work out if it is a corridor or meant to be a room.
That kitchen looks over-fitted. So many cupboards and nowhere to eat.
To be honest I like looking at estate agent house info but there has to be a floorplan or I'm left with too many unanswered questions. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

We were walking back from the park after walking the dog a few minutes ago and we heard thunder like the crack of doom. No rain yet or visible lightning so must have been a long way away and incredibly loud. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
zag, my house is basically the same floorplan, it is literally round the corner, but my house is a bit bigger ( for some reason as you go up the hill , the houses are a tad wider, so I know exactly what the floorplan is for this one.
But I know what you mean!0 -
I feel the need to calm him and tell him that is as bad as it can possibly get:D
You've heard Isaac singing, then....It really is.
Once again, the NPT is topical yet ahead of the curve: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28783088
When you read those lists, there are always words / phrases you've never or barely heard of such as "hench" for me, and others that seem to have been in regular use for ages; "Bank of Mum and Dad" for example.Just logged into school and got "my" results. Not too bad. For the exam modules I taught, and compared with what I predicted, I've got one student up a grade, two students down one grade each, and the other 11 as predicted.
Nice one!
Now only GCSE results to go and that's your lot for another year.Often carefree, cash-rich and keen to hang on to t
That whole "superboomers" thing is half-witted, anyway.
My Dad said a while ago that when he was growing up, they weren't called boomers, but called "the bulge" as the large number of children born after the war worked their way up the demography diagrams. The adaptation of the baby boomer from American English came later, he says.
Surely someone aged 50, born in the mid 1960s, is too young?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
