They are also not considered unclean by Arabs.

I am calling OFF work plans.

Sill up for a ladies lunch in September. Lydia's and spirits day off is now the same I think. And I have house to myself for a fortnight, though September might be horrific for Lydia....settling into routine ( mid to late I think? )

NDG? Too far? Off peak trains aren't as plentyful to here, but I'm very near a station.


We will reconvene after the deadline date for nikkster gardening and marmite toast eating here. Plenty to be done then.

I noticed that B&Q are selling chalky paint for furniture. The big brand for shabby-chic is Annie Sloane but here is stuff for the wider market.

Re: colours - if you are theming then matching it or trying to compliment something you already own would be a good idea. Is there something owned and staying? It's easier to pick paint to match something than start finding things to match paint. Sofa?
