I'll see.... might get some superglue and see if I can glue the broken bits and give it one more go ....
I've used/built several of these before (other brands) and never had a problem, so it's not because I'm useless (this time). I know what I am bad at .... and what I am OK with .... and can separate the two. This should have been straight forward.0 -

Good. Respectful relationships in all aspects are an important and happy part of adult life which parents need to accept.
Can feel like a parental milestone though.
A friend once complained that she expected to be kept awake by her offspring when they were small...but the sound of nocturnal activities of her then 'enthusiastic' adult daughter were a source of stress. The solution was to move the daughters bed so that the bed head was against an external, rather than internal wall.
Another first world problem solved.0 -

I did make the point that I wouldn't be so tolerant if the relationship was very new. He countered it by saying I wasn't being "tolerant" but just accepting that we live in the 21st century. He still needs to learn when to keep quiet.
And countless measuring rooms and discussing layouts has put the double bed in the far bedroom out of the wayin what was/ is his brother's room. "he's moved out" is the retort.

Its one of those things least spoken about the better I think silver car. From both sides.
Bed in the parents house is often where you dissect whether the fact the mother asked if you took sugar twice means she thinks you are fat, and stuff. She'll be nervous too, without the benefit of life experience.0 -
