PN's method of items into bowls is definitely the way to go

How lovely and evocative
I sailed dinghys when I was much younger. Never been on a boat much bigger than that, other than a 16' catamaran one summer on holiday.

What sort of dress do you need? What kind of event is it?
I lowered the average recently when one of me divided my weight into two (unequal) portions.
Black tie. Dh's Gaudy. I'm guessing sober is the order of the day, and smart. Not the hand painted silk thing in bright colours I've seen. Thing is, I'm more likely to wear bright silk thing again. But I think it looks a bit informal. Maybe even a bit bed jacket- ish.0 -

Trying to build the first side I'm laying all the bits out before I start. "In place" so to speak, just nothing screwed in. Already I've removed some plastic washers that didn't go where I thought the picture showed.... put the plastic washers where I think they should go; laid down the drawer runners, with their fixing screws, then switched the runners round as I had them upside down and back to front. The first side is currently sitting with all the parts most likely in the correct place .... but I need to take a photo of the diagram and zoom in on it to see if I'm missing something or doing a bit wrong.
There are some of those round/fat metal fixings that you drop into a 3/4" hole and that then have a Phillips screwdriver hole on one side - and as you turn that it slides round another metal piece to hold it together.... before I pop those in the holes I need to have a trial at turning it in mid air to try to understand which way it's moving etc in case it should be put into the hole in a particular way.....0 -

Its a sort of event that happens at a few universities. Slightly differently, This one is essentially 'school reunion, with posh grub'0 -
I am waiting for my neighbours to put their bin out .... so I can peek to see which one it is .... then do mine0

Beenie just started on Channel 4..... double your house, half the money.
Dream house £410k
Current house value £250k
Their budget: £70k
3 bed 1960s semi
They want a big extension on the ground floor and master/en-suite upstairs. Needs to be insulated, Beenie recommended cladding the outside to do that.0 -

Your council might have a webpage which shows this. Mine do. It even remembers your address if you want it too. I check it at crazy o'clock on the relevant day of the week most weeks. On some smug days I remember to put it out the night before.0 -

They do ... but when I moved in and checked I'd got the wrong one.... so not sure if I checked wrongly then, or if the page is/was wrong. So best bet is see what the others do
The alternative is to put all three out and see what they take
I just checked: Website says it's a rubbish night (not recycling) .... let's see...
I just heard the neighbours moving their bin..... I'll peek out the window upstairs and see which one's still in their garden.
Edit: Seems to be "rubbish night" thenSo I've done mine
