Pastures New, am so excited for you over your incipient move. :j I do hope you'll share a few photos with us when it happens.
I follow a fair number of Liverpool based bloggers when I get time, and when I read this blog post I thought of you and your seaside garden ideas. The most interesting photos for you are prob the ones about half way down the post, the sea shell paths, and stones set in them, and the gate is lovely (though maybe not quite what you might want to do I still think you'll like the gate to the Island).0 -
Worrying a bit about my mum
Hope all is well. I remember being told when I was previously urgently referred for the same, that pain frequently indicates something else (not as bad) is going on, if that's any reassurance in the meantime.neverdespairgirl wrote: »I lived in a small town in Poland for 9 months
M&D are off to Poland for the first time in their lives in October, for a flying 48 hour visit to attend the wedding of a family friend's son. He's Scottish, getting married to a Polish lass (they live in London).
They're hoping that there will be some translation - either written or verbally! :eek:After making numerous trips to Hull over the last 12 months where SS1 is at University, I have found learning East Yerksher to be harder than I imagined
I think you'll find that is pronounced Ull, with a guttural U and pursed lips:D

Reminds me of the semi-joke question about 2 dentists: there are 2 dentists in town, one with excellent teeth and the other with really poor-looking teeth. Which one do you sign up with? The one with poor-looking teeth, because he's clearly treated the one with excellent teeth, whereas the other way round ...lostinrates wrote: »found DH left it too tightly done up ( again). Grrrr. He's really mean with jars, but especially the pollen.
I've got a jar key and jar gripper (not this one but similar idea) which are absolutely fabulous. The key wouldn't be helpful with DH but the gripper might and saves palaver with knives or hot taps.0 -

I didn't know they existed. It's like a smart car - there isn't a huge call for tiny cars in semi-ruralshire so it stands out, then you see the badge. Very showy number plate.
I think it is just a rebadged Toyota IQ and they stopped making them after a short while as demand for a 7k car at 30k or whatever it cost wan't very strong.
I hate the pull ring cans, they seem very dangerous to me and my hands are quite strong. Then again I also struggle with tin openers as whichever one we buy it seems to stop working after a few weeks or a few months at most
Jars I always put them on the hot plate of the cooker or tap them to break the seal, don't think tapping works if they have previoously been opened.
A relative is looking for a car at the 'old banger' price point, do any NP know of anyone selling one?I think....0 -
My health is like a child's , goes up and down quickly. I felt really positive after yesterday, thinking how long it is since been sick etc.
This afternoon fell asleep again and feel sick as a dog, lol. Dog dog is snuggled in with me on the sofa.0 -

Bit of turning mains on and off mainly ( teehee). Wanted to get a shop in, but was stuck her waiting for pump repair guy ( after plumber) then something else...( I dislike waiting ATM waiting even when I 'm stuck here, silly I know, but means if I have a good few hours cannot make good use of them for errands)
I probably need to eat something thinking about it. That might be it.0 -

OH says he thinks it is a rebadged Toyota Aygo...there is some EU rule that across the range car manufactureres have to have an average (something technical) .. rebadge a very small Toyota and bingo...compliance.0
