Here's the reckless spend
Not the best angle, but worryingly, the tidiest background!

HUTH annoys for the same reason. The way they summarise the purchase when they go back to revisit the property, you may as well start watching half way through.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Mine mostly chew each other in a friendly fashion! Ruby nearly 7 and Heidi, 4 on Monday, are particularly unaware that they are actually grown up now.
Dog dog checks toys all over for their squeakers. Sometimes she does the same with kiwi, same very organised methodical approach. He doesn't seem to mind. Big dog just likes food.0 -

In the right areas, butchers are "protected" to some degree because visitors/holidaymakers are more likely to follow all that stuff they see on the telly about using a good local butcher ... and when they're at home the butcher's closed before they've finished work (or run out) .... so it feels like a proper treat/holiday to have bought local sausages0 -
I've been sent some Unworked on sounds from gig on Friday, recorded live, haven't listened to it myself yet. Any one interested I might send a link0

There are some trees I'd like in my garden. To buy them about 8-12' high would cost £300-600 each ... but I've spotted them in pots at 10" for £5. I know how fast they grow .... and know that within 5 years they'll look respectable and might be 4-5'0 -

They also gloss over the costs.
So many are breaking even/making a loss if you factor in just small solicitor bills, stamp duty and small selling fees for EAs and a second solicitor bill. Never mind, if they've got a mortgage, any costs for surveys/setup fees etc.
They really do misrepresent profit/loss on there. Also, if somebody's just done the house for a solid year and borrowed £200k for a whole year then that has to be £10k for his labour (cheap/mates rates value) and £6k for interest.0 -

So how tall? Tall enough for fir to lean out of the study window and pick a fresh olive?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Agreed. One day this week, someone bought a pub that they were converting into a house, they reckoned on spending less than I'm spending on my downstairs loo to do the kitchen, bathroom, move some load bearing walls around and add an en-suite.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
