Nothng done :o Getting planning permission would be worth another 50 and if we sell now we are no longer long property.

But it gets you a good profit and away from the appeal situation. Go on and buy another one with a different or easier potential. You don't have to drop out of the game altogether.

Funnily enough, we did that tonight - OH decided that his Indian would benefit from an accompanying cold beer. We had a bottle of Becks in the fridge that came from somewhere (the label tells me it's 3.2 UK units, 600ml) and OH had 2/3rds, I had 1/3rd, and Isaac had a sip and didn't like it at all.

So alcohol for him is something he doesn't really fancy, not something forbidden and exciting.

Same with youngest, some of his reluctance is due to the medication he is on but a lot of it is because he sees it as a waste of money and a waste of control, he just cannot see the point in drinking alcohol.

He had a vodka and lemonade at the after party....the vodka content was less than a thimble full to a half pint of lemonade :rotfl:
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

We finally got a storm last night...not that it appears to have done anything to the muggy feel this morning, if anything, it feels muggier!

Was woken by an enormous clap of thunder at just after 3.30 and we were subjected to an amazing light show for the next hour or so.

We think we just found what got bleeeeeeped in the lightening......

    Our main phone line.

Thought it had been nice and quiet last evening. :)

What was that long range phone , the Panasonic? That so e one recommended ? I really want one that will work as far away as the yard. Well with in the range the BT phone was meant to cover.

We had that here, two days after the phone line went in!

The situation with Apple chargers here is beyond a joke. Last week, it seemed that three of us were sharing one charger.

I went and bought a new one when doozer was away in London, thinking that he had taken one with him when he left. So me and the children had one each and I presume doozer does.
    DD uses a lightening cable.

He returns, then takes DSs entire charger with him this week. Chaos ensues when I have no charger at all and my phone is dead. I go to the apple shop, buy a new plug and 30 pin charger. This morning, doozer unplugs this, my new one, to charge up his phone.

Apparantly, I am being trivial, but at a cost of £30 a go and just wanting everyone to have their own lead without scrabbling around somewhere, I am beyond frustrated. DD then walks in and asks me where her lightening cable is.

    I despair.

He has also collected two London parking tickets this week. Expense for no reason other than being bl**dy minded. He then expects "us" (ie. me) to challenge one for him. The last one had me intears in front of the adjudicator (not a nice man, despite him
upholding the appeal). I am not going through that again.

When me and hubby split, he was quite surprised when I refused to sort out his car insurance or pay his mobile/credit card bill as I had always done it in the past.

He couldn't quite get his head around the fact that despite me doing it for all those years when we were together, that I would not be quite so willing to do it when we were seperated. I still remember his cry of "But you have always sorted it for me, I don't know what to do and don't have the time to do it!"

My answer was along the lines of "You're an adult, you made your choice, your responsibility"

    Thick or lazy?
    :)

That's actually a good question that I have asked myself. I was very young at the time, and I probably lacked the dexterity needed to pick the toy up and turn it over. Either that, or I was habituated into the idea that it was not something i did!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

. Then I got home and snuggled up to Kermie He's starting to squeak again already.

Snuggling a baby and listening to baby squeaks...sounds wonderful.

As well as the helpful Isaac, do you have Sam at present?
