Got a good letter this week.
Having made 2 overpayments, & 1 mortgage payment, the mortgage is now under £100k.
    Step 1 taken....
Hurrah .... my mortgage has never topped the £100k mark ..... I started late and with a good deposit.

Never mind her heart, her eyes are to die for her hair is just lovely and she is very easy to look at.
Looks like it might be pub night then .... I'll sit here under good lighting and she can ensure we get free drinks all night :)

    Eyes are my biggest weakness.

I've always "pictured" Nikkster as having a beautiful laugh...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Sadly, they haven't yet cured my character flaws, my inclination to be lazy, or my procrastination habit.

    They're not flaws :)
Embrace that lifestyle.... don't let these busy, busy, busy people make you feel bad about the choices that are right for you. Often, procrastinating saves work as things change.... procrastinating rarely MAKES time/work. It's the future!

Hmmmm. Hope you do come out of it soon. Is there anything we can do to make life easier for you?

There seems to have been this cascade of bad news. Dad got sick and died, I lost my job in the GFC and then couldn't get another, then I got a few crappy jobs before getting chased out of a reasonable-ish one by a racist idiot, then I got cancer then I got the boot for having cancer!

It always feels like I'm picking myself up from the last kick in the nuts when I get another.

My luck will turn. I'm an optimistic person and I honestly believe that if you keep knocking at the door it'll open. It's hard to keep on knocking though.

There's nothing to be done but to keep on keeping on. Sometimes life deals you a bad hand and sometimes a good one. All you can do is get the most out of your pair of jacks or your full house or even your running flush (not that anyone really gets a running flush in 5 card poker).

Unexpected bad bathroom experience.... so, as you know, I've been busy/hot/sweating a lot. Well, if you'll be dirty in 10 minutes there's no point having a shower right now is there.... so I just got round to having my first shower here.

I went to have a bath - and spotted problem 1.... no plug. So, shower it is then.

Problem 2.... Turned the shower on and stuck it on "the wall thing" and couldn't for the life of me work out how to angle it... and it was hitting me straight in the face... so I had to take it out of that and keep hold of it. Maybe Nikkster's got more shower experience than me and can show me how it's supposed to fit in the plastic thingy.

Problem 3.... I then realised I'd left my shampoo/shower gel downstairs, in the bag ..... oh well, I'll wash my hair/shower using the hand gel in the bathroom ..... squeezed some out - what a pong! Not sure what it is, strawberry, pomegranate and something or other/similar.

Oh well... hot/sweaty from the shower now. I hate it when it's so hot and you shower to feel better, but you don't feel better as you're even hotter/sweatier.

Sadly, they haven't yet cured my character flaws, my inclination to be lazy, or my procrastination habit. I suppose that would be a bit much to expect from a vitamin injection, though. ;)

If you do find something for that please let me know, I'll take a lifetimes supply.

Trying to give away the kids swing but they are not too keen, was hoping the tenants might want it then the kids can think it is not permanently gone...

The kids do have a new bigger swing/climbing frame so losing the baby one would not make them deprived.
    I think....

    Have you tried ebay?

When I was growing up I knew somebody with a swing. The frame was held down to the grass with a U shaped piece of metal in the four corners.... but if you swung hard enough it'd start pulling out. I wish we'd had a swing, but my friend had one, so I got to go on one.

    I loved swings.
