W8R1 done. Can't believe I have nearly completed it again!0

I've got a cold and I don't want to run.0

I have resolved to start tomorrow! I'll get my gear out before I go to bed and I WILL be up early! I've been awake an hour before the alarm the past 2 days but forced myself to go back to sleep. Tomorrow I will make good use of that hour!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

Week 1 session 1 done this morning...I hadn't realised quite how unfit I am. I must stick with it!...Even when term starts again! I'm sure it will make me feel better in the long run!!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3

general consensus is leave it rather than pop
you might think about some of the variables that might be causing it - would changing sock type perhaps help? and/or different trainers?
did you do anything different the day you got it - run somewhere new? run further and/or faster than usual? get your feet very wet? etc.
in the interest of keeping things right long term you need to think about whether you delay your next run - no point making it worse if it will put you out of action for longer
when you run again consider protecting the area with zinc tape and/or compeed blister plasters0 -

The only problem is, due to location it's becoming increasingly difficult to walk normally leaving it as it is! I have postponed my run today, but am keen to pick up again tomorrow if I can.
I put it down to running off road for the first time in months and faster/longer than normal, but socks were also an issue.0 -
Still only on run for 90 sec, walk for 2 mins.....still sooo hard. Might go back to 60 secs running for a bit.0

Hi folks, is it too late to join you?
I have never really done any running (aside from bits we were forced to do in PE at school) because it never appealed to me, but I'd like to do something to get into better shape and I think a structured programme like c25k might be a good way to start.
I haven't read the whole thread - but I'll try to go back and catch up a little.
Quick question though - does anyone know a good android app to use for doing c25k on a treadmill? I don't think I can face running in public so plan to stick to the gym at least to start, but the apps I've seen seem to work on gps for distance which won't do!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
