Week 5 day 3.
They're joking, right? Meant to be doing it today, and hasn't realised it was such a big jump. And it's raining. Am currently waving my motivation out of the door.
Go for it. Go on, you know you want to.
You might be surprised.
My wife prefers running in the rain as it help keep her cooler0 -
I'm always cold. I don't want to be cooler. This running lark has yet to have much effect on my circulation.
Can anyone recommend an iPhone app to track distance? At the moment I'm quite slow and I'd be interested to check how much mileage I'm actually doing. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
We use Endomomdo but there are plenty of others.
As you are now off line I presume that you are out running?0 -
!!!!!! me, I did it. 20 minutes without stopping.
Average of 7.2 min per kilometre which I suspect is very slows even for a beginner. But I don't care, because I did it.:DAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

That's terrific. It is a big jump and it too me three tries to get past the ten minute barrier. Ironically the next week, when you do two runs of 10 minutes each, I think, also seems really hard but you'll nail it! :beer:0

Try the Runkeeper app. It's free and works pretty accurately. Whatever App you use I would recommend it as it is great fun to see the miles add up.0

I just carried on using the standard Couch25K app which has a free run option at the end which works.0

I don't think I'm doing this right - I suspect it's meant to be done in consecutive weeks but I did week one then had a gap (due to going on holiday and working away at places that don't have gyms) and have now started week 2. At this rate I'll get to week 8 mid-2015!
Is week 5 when it really starts to get difficult? I've found it pretty easy so far but the idea of running for 20 minutes straight doesn't seem possible and it's only 3 weeks away!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
