I just pull out anyway - same from slip roads on to dual carriageway with no hard shoulder and watch the fury in the rear mirror......

    Especially if it's a coach!

... and presumably on single carriageway roads as well?

After all, there is no difference in principle whatsoever.

    Obvious troll is obvious.

I have been known to overtake people who jump out onto the carriageway at 20mph below the speed limit in front of me, then slow right down and take off again, leaving them doing 35 being tailgated by lorries.

Just because someone else drives stupidly and dangerously doesn't mean that you should.

Your actions are as bad if not worse as yours are deliberate and premeditated and they are just incompetent drivers.

EDIT: Jase has pointed out that his post was a sarcastic response. Fair enough.

I had thought the troll comment would have made my motives re that comment more obvious.

I take exception to your assertion that Uxb's comments do not show premeditation though.

It read like a serious comment to me. A number of people do "boast" about such actions on here.

If you weren't serious, a smilie might have helped.

Fair enough. For the avoidance of doubt, this was an attempt at sarcasm -- in truth I was aiming for a reaction from Uxb, but you got in the way.

Although I have been tempted to do it in the past :D

It has begun to irritate me now I drive on the a50 every day. Lorries trying to overtake other lorries, realising they can't and sitting in the right hand lane! I've only got a little car and it's things like this which have led to me having to repair my windscreen after 3.5 months of owning the car because of sitting behind a lorry that flicks stones at my car!

  • Complain to your MP. It's not the lorry's fault they have a speed limiter set to less than the speed limit for that vehicle.

I am aware of that. Just saying it's an inconvenience.
