I'm afraid it seems to me that he is just looking for a house keeper and whipping boy. When was the last time he tried to make you feel good? Does he love you or even say it? Not sure if you've mentioned in previous posts, but what are your ages? Not sure if his domineering character is reinforced by his belief that he is older and knows better.
