Don't be concerned. It's on an Alpha testing board that you had to click an activation link to become a tester on a few months ago. Only people who did that back then will be able to see it, otherwise you get that message. It's just as it should be.

Why do I get the feeling they will ignore all negative feedback and only focus on the positive feedback received to make that horrible white look the new look.
Good way to getting old-ish members to say goodbye0 -

"Hi Mandelbrot. For the time being existing forum members (i.e., they join the forum before the new version goes live) will have the ability to revert back to the old version but we won't be providing support for it and can't promise we'll be keeping it permanently. "
This just prompted a long time lurker to register :rotfl:0 -
i think if anyone thought that the new version was any good when they had a try of it , they would have stuck with it , the fact tat people have used it and returned to the old version speaks volumes ,
changing things just for the sake of changing things is not required if people are happy with what they've got , no doubt it has cost a lot of dosh to develop the new look , but it should be an improvment on the old . IT'S NOT0 -
A very big thank you to everyone who fed back to us on our new Forum look trial
Yes. We know. It's said this for several days now. Can this now be removed please so we can regain some of our screen for more useful things (like forum posts)?0 -
I hated the new look for most of the reasons listed above, many of which can be considered breaches of W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) guidelines and industry standards.
MSE Towers, would you like to borrow one of my HTML/web page books that contains suggestions on web design?0 -
I actually really liked the new forum design. It's fresh and clean, and actually renders really well here.
I applaud MSE for letting people give their views on the new design, but please don't make too many changes.
After a week or so of people using it, I suspect most will have forgotten how the old forum looked!
