SB great news about the trousers fitting! I will have a read of 333, thank you. I didn't know Lush gave you free in exchange for pots.

Yes if you take back five of their black pots (washed - once I had forgotten to wash them out and they made me do it in the shop!) you can swap it for a face mask :-) I have been saving mine up and reckon I have enough for one more (but hopefully more once I've used up more of my lush stuff :o)

Happy July everyone! I too am back from my holiday, slightly browner (well, not really) and a year older (had a birthday over there, not away for a year unfortunately!) I'm feeling happy and relaxed but am looking forward to some tabbing. Hair definitely needs dying, and a face mask is sorely needed! I wanted to get a manicure done this lunchtime but the place is fully booked, and tomorrow lunchtime is gym time!
    No more goo hoarding!

    Happy birthday pirateyqueen!

I went to the own this morning and bought some black wedge sandals. I'd been looking for some for ages but was too stingy to pay the asking price. Found some unworn Offices ones in a charity shop. They weren't really cheap at £8.99 but they're just what I was after and cheaper than anywhere else.

Hope you had a good birthday pq, how nice to celebrate on holiday.

I went to the own this morning and bought some black wedge sandals. I'd been looking for some for ages but was too stingy to pay the asking price. Found some unworn Offices ones in a charity shop. They weren't really cheap at £8.99 but they're just what I was after and cheaper than anywhere else.

That reminds me I've got a pair of black patent wedge sandals I'd forgotten all about. I'll dig them out. I got a nice linen skirt in the CS yesterday. Coral, 100% linen, slightly full and knee length made by Brora the cashmere people. I think it was £3.99 so I'm pleased with that.

On a frivolous point: I need to do something about my knickers! Yesterday I did my holiday washing and then a load of visitors arrived. Being a nice day we sat in the conservatory in full view of the washing line. I'm sure they had better things to do than look at my underwear but I was very conscious of the tired old pants. M&S stopped selling the style I like a couple of years ago and although I've got a few new pairs that I bought up when they were discontinued I've been reluctant to use them as I know I can't get more. This morning I've thrown away all the scruffy ones so now I'm on the hunt for new ideas.

I'm not ready for big knickers. I don't like thongs. I prefer black or white cotton rather than anything scratchy or too synthetic or with slogans and patterns on. I used to wear a garter style which is rather like some bikini bottoms, so a decent back, small front and then sort of straps at the side. May I ask what everyone else wears?;)

Big knickers all the way for me, although I am not big myself:rotfl: I have a perfectly respectable BMI, but do have some tummy fat, so the most covering of the Sloggi range are my HG, they give me a weeny bit of "holding in" and no VSP in skinny jeans, leggings etc. Having said that I bought a similar shape from M&S recently, but not as good. Black under dark colours and skin shade under white and pale colours.

Wishing you luck in your search maman:D

My "magenta magic" highlights of two weeks ago did not take:(, so today my lovely hairdresser did it again for me FOC:D, I had bright pink and magenta put in at full strength, quite happy with it as it will gradually fade anyway, but put it like this - I will not have to worry about being visible out on my bike for a week or two:rotfl: Can't wait to see OH's face when he comes in LOL (he could be described as being "rather conventional":(

Maman I don't wear big knickers, I either buy the matching pair to the bra which is likely to be your normal sort of knickers or I buy hipster ones which are probably veering towards thong territory in terms of how they sit on your butt LOL

    PQ belated happy birthday

Lizzie without sounding patronising you've come a long way since you first started posting and it's so great to see :T def look for another spa day :D

Fabbing involved wearing a dress today. It was just too hot for jeans, even cropped ones so skater style dress with leggings (because I am too old for bare legs and skirts more than 3 inches above my knee :o).
My nails need repainting so will do that in a moment.
Am still using my lush coconut oil every morning.
Sciatica that was plaguing me start of the week appears to have gone, thanks to yoga class on Tuesday.
I am wishing for a wee bit of rain if I am honest. It's too hot and sticky and my poor back garden is parched. I am sure I will be cursed for saying that but hey ho ;):o

MM love the sound of your highlights :) I have been quite busy with a family issue for the past few days and I think this will on go for a bit, so my idea of 7 weeks fabbing seems under pressure already. I have done little bits when I can, yesterday I managed an hour's walk and a twenty minute walk today. I gave my hair a deep condition today and used a face mask. Both mornings I have managed a healthy smoothie for breakfast. Today I had a very refreshing mint, cucumber, ginger, spinach, watermelon and chia smoothie.

I tidied out my underwear (need to put some thought into knickers too :rotfl:), tights, socks and nightwear and cleared lots out. I am temporarily moving out of my bedroom as it needs decorating. This will be quite a long job as it has horrible fitted units that need to be taken away and woodchip removed. It is a great incentive to get more organised. I am a huge fan of being organised at work, so I am trying to extend this to home a bit more.

I am overweight and I wear boy short knickers which are basically like hotpants. I weighed myself today and I've lost half a stone.. yippee!!!! I am now 14 and a half stone and heading for a size 20. This time last year, I was 16 and a half stone, and in Jan, when I had my colostomy reversal surgery, I was 16 stone, so I've lost 2 stone in a year! I still feel so big and I've got a long way to go, but I'm really pleased with the slow steady weight loss! I bought a nail polish rack from ebay which came today and the bottles look so pretty on it although they don't all fit! I painted my nails a dark inky navy today too .
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)
