I resisted temptation today
my DD had friends round and they brought ALL of my favourite sweeties and not one passed my lips
Then tonight a friend dropped by with a bag of my favourite chocolates and again I didn't have one :j
I can do this!!!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Hi,
Nothing amazing here fabbing wise, although when we went to see Tom Jones at the weekend I wore a dress I'd never worn before as it was a wee bit too tight *yay*. I'm getting my hair cut next week, my hair is really short so the final week drives me mad, so I'm looking forward to it.
I bought a new brooch and handbag from the charity shop this week. My normal bag is from the Army surplus shop so I decided to go for a proper lady bag. It's a bit stinky at the minute but it's living outside and being doused with bicarb so it should be good soon.
Had a bit of a preen this morning, so I'm ready for the weekend, that's about that. Have a good weekend everyone.0 -

I have previously mentioned having hayfever/allergy problem ATM, this morning have woken up with what seems to be the beginning of a cold:(:( Not amused!
Still, could be a lot worse so shower and pamper then into town to local market (regular Friday visit). At last toe nails painted, neon pink, makes me smile just to see them (I know I am a simple soul LOL).
I hope that everyone has a Fab Friday:D
Rummer - you are doing well avoiding the sweets and chocs. Local small supermarket has been selling small bags of very well know brand of yummy toffee for £1, I don't eat much cake or sweets, but this has been my weekly treat after Gym, none on the shelf yesterday:(, the same thing in the proper shop is more than 50p dearer, but I might just succumb even thought not :money:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I did it :j day two in the bag :j
We had a family crisis (all sorted now) and I spent this evening racing about trying to sort things and I didn't reach for the chocolateI even packed a healthy salad and oatcakes to eat on the hoof
If I can stay healthy in the face of sweetie parties and mini crises then I am on the way to better health!
No time for fabbing today but Sunday night is booked for a thorough pampering!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Well done Rummer glad to here the crisis is sorted; this past few weeks it's really hit home for me that having the next meal planned and/or ready to go is key to keeping on track. Since I have been watching what I eat I have had little desire or craving to eat rubbish. Being prepared for the inevitable munchies with something healthy to hand helps a lot too.Mortgage

Morning :hello:
After not doing much on thursday, yesterday I went for a walk along the canal. My leg tightened up a bit and I started limping, I was a bit worried but it was the first time I've walked for more than five minutes since seeing the osteopath. Plus the muscles have been pushed into the right place so I'm using them slightly differently. So I suppose it was going to protest a bit? I'm still a bit sore from the treatment too, though that's nearly gone now.
I have nothing planned for next week (apart from the usual house/garden stuff and the osteopath on friday), so I'm going to concentrate on me. Once everyone has been decluttered to work on monday, I'll start my action plan. It might not go perfectly but I can refine it as I go. Once the first week is over and I have other things to do, it should work around it. I feel like I need the first week to see what works and what doesn't, and I'll be able to do that a lot better without distractions.
I'll make a start today with my feet, toenails in particular - green nail varnish I thinkBulletproof0 -
