Tantalising Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
15 minutes...
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas [/STRIKE]
30 minutes to spare...
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
Remove clutter, making sure stairs especially are safe
[STRIKE]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/STRIKE]
Got an hour...
[STRIKE]Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!)[/STRIKE] and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
[STRIKE]Change any dead lightbulbs![/STRIKE] this has been ended for weeks!
Extras:
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Clean a window or two.
Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves

Made a start! Will do a little more tomorrow! HaVe also cleared the kitchen and put a load of washing on. Not at work tomorrow so hope to be a little more productive!

Evening all, thought I would cross off what I've done this week from my version of the list.. Have just finished watering the garden and am now stopping for the day.

Musty Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room[STRIKE]Sweep[/STRIKE] and mop the floor
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Wipe dining table.. and check the underside.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Dust any extra furniture in dining area,[STRIKE] checking for cobwebs on way round… lightshades need doing![/STRIKE]
Sort your drawer of large cutlery things.. slotted spoons, spatulas.. clean out the drawer, flin the things you don't need/use and make it all neat and tidy!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
Thoroughly clean a cupboard or the drawers!
30 minutes ironing!!!Wipe the inside of the unit doorsEmpty the pan cupboard!! Sort those oven trays, tighten handles on pans.

[STRIKE]Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Fling open the window and let in the summer![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs.. [/STRIKE](make sure to do the bed base..!)
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]15 minutes floordrobe clearance [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean lightshade, and remove dead insects... [/STRIKE]

Thanks Kaz, it's been a long time since I've fleabayed and I knew the new rules existed but I'd forgotten how they worked. I'm letting some p0prteiri0n china go to a better home, and the people that seem to be buying at the moment are interested in the big pieces, or collections, as opposed to a single plate or bowl here or there. 'Buyer Collect' isn't putting people off, either, so there's no P&P to worry about, although I have mountains of bubble wrap and the attic is bursting at the seams with boxes, so I can pack the stuff up incredibly well if anyone wants to use a courier.

So I figure that I'll let anyone who wants this kind of stuff time to find it - I'm told during sunny weather the bay of e slows down.

The longest I've done before is 10 days to 'capture' two Thursdays (most searches) and Sundays (most buyers) - apparently. I'd value your view on this, though.

I'm going through the photos now, waiting for OH to get back from a meeting.

And I owe you a huge Thank You Lamewolf for your witch-type information; very useful.

Evening all, thank you everyone for your kind words.. I know it's going to be a long hard haul but with the help of my "small support group" and you guys in here I know I can get through it.. I better otherwise this is the last resort and I can't do anything else...

LW I too have tablets for my MH issues but unfortunately they don't control it alone...darn thing...
Oooh tribbles - I would so love a tribble..but I think they breed more than rabbits.. lol

Sorted out my ironing pile for my ironing lady, when we sort everything out about prices etc.. Then she can do it all for me and I can start again with the wee pile I have But she will be doing some every month for me.. I decided that if it meant I wasn't getting ill or anxious over the ironing pile because someone else is doing it, then so what!! It means I am happier and not stressing over one less thing And I can do the little bits that need doing during the month

Deheaded all my roses, petunias, picked a couple more strawberries from my hanging basket, put slug stuff around my veg plot and made a shepherds pie for tea Not sure about tomorrow, will see how that goes

Good afternoon all!

Got a fair bit done tonight including dusting the bedroom, sorting out the shelf of doom in there (hadn't even registered it was an issue until I went to attempt to dust it! Sorted all my necklaces out too that I always just dump there in a big heap

Then got tons of beans quick soaking for my meal plan and got them cooked - bit of a saucepan jiggling task as I'm down to my small one and my really big one - my middle one I destroyed last week in a big fail of a recipe. Been trying to retrieve it with various methods but tonight got frustrated and ended up ruining the non stick so it's well and truly done for :mad: only about £8 from Mr T but I don't have £8 spare till AT LEAST next month so I'll have to put up with it. The Mr T own ones (not cheapo ones but non stick ones with glass lids) really are worth the money I think, in fact I think they are incredibly good value for how well made they are and the non stick is great! Unfortunately not foolproofed against certain idiots ... ie me!

15 minutes floordrobe clearance I don't any clothes or anything to put away!! I've been keeping on top of it after marathon laundry at weekend!

• 37 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
• Sort through someone's wardrobe.. what can you fling?

other than bargain hunting which I really shouldn't be doing while trying to pay off my debts and add money to my savings accounts I have done well not a lot .... apart from see too the kids and go to the park and 2 loads of washing and some daily jobs ive done hardly anything ,,,, needto pull my finger out so I will see you all In the morning hopefully raring to go ... night all

Clear floors of guff and stuff
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk
30 minutes to spare...
Wipe keyboard, house phone and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)..
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains, shower curtains etc

Got an hour to spare...
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks

Extras...

• Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
• Wipe down 2 doors.. room doors.. both sides

My list for this week
Mon - work afternoon until 20.00
Tues - work 10.00 until 20.30
Wed - work afternoon until 20.00

Thurs - small MS any time.
Also a meal MS - time depends on car (now going to be early evening)
now have to get bus to car service department and collect courtesy car :eek: and pick up DH from work

Friday - must go on bus to butcher's as running low

Find all DH income for last year
Fill in WTC form for this year
Turn up linings for spare room curtains
Turn out drawers in side cupboard in sitting room and sort
Tidy and sort both freezers
Do at least two hours in Room of Doom sorting paperwork
Tidy and weed boxes on balcony
Freeze spare herbs

June Challenge
Haven't done much exercise but have done a lot of walking last two weeks and have managed to lose 2 lbs

Honey B, I personally dont hold with eby, saying x day is best for searches, x day is best for buying, IMO it is hype to get folk to use their site and spend! but that is only my opinion, if folk want the item and is priced right, then they will bid, it might be at the last minute, so it doesn't really matter what day you start or finish it, as now they can pre set their bids and not even be on line,

If you are allowing collection, get cash on collection, as it will further save the paypal fees, and stop any charge backs against paypal from folk who say the item never arrived, as paypal will normal find in their favour, as you cannot prove you delivered it!! Personally I wouldn't allow couriers either for that reason. good luck with what ever you do.

Morning all. About to walk the dogs then when DD leaves I'll make a start on the bathroom list. If I get time, I'd also like to cut the grass out back before the paid stuff, just in case it rains. First of two washloads is in machine and there is also washing up of the breakfast dishes to do.
