    here you go Tropez -

luckily my DD is not remotely interested in making these - but there are literally hundreds of loom band bracelets going around her school, so loads of kids must be beavering away at their loom bands every free moment they have :D.

Yes, I've literally just got back from the shop with DD to buy more. The Works and Poundland stock 99p bags of looms, I am wearing a pretty one now.

DD makes bracelets and sends them to her cousins in New Zealand and Oz and vice versa, so it is a very expensive hobby but very sweet. My husband wears them to the office, I think it's become quite trendy amongst dads to wear your child's bracelets..

Yes - both my 12yo and my 5yo are obsessed with making them. My youngest has just learnt how to do a fishtail one by herself.

Both schools have banned them though.

my DSD (10) loves them and I think it's a great wee hobby, very cheap and it works wonders for her concentration and dexterity. a million times better than the ipad or tv!
