You can be arrested for calling a traveller a '!!!!!' as it is considered an ethnic sluri, can't see them phoning 999 they will just rearrange your face for you instead.
Chav and !!!!! basically mean the same..!!!!! through the years has had many meanings and is in fact used by gypsys to call someone that has been cast out of their family for stealing from them etc..
Chav and !!!!! mean underclass......It's ok to use the word
    chav but not !!!!!????
Well scrounger can be applied to many people in many situations.

:rotfl:Mods are you serious.....you are obvioulsy not aware the word p*k*Y can be written ...it's not illegal :rotfl:

And you have just proven the point i made....chav and p*k*y mean the same and are both an insult but you saw fit to leave chav.
Is this not discrimination you are protraying by protecting the traveller community (even though they use the word themselves) but see fit to allow the 'underclass' of the settled community to be called the same!:(

Wouldn't it have been better not to mention the country of origin at all? The issues mentioned aren't nationalistic ones, surely?
When "fill in the nationality" kids play ball in communal area's I find it much more constructive than something like lighting fires in the park or painting graffiti on fences.

    Good grief! :(

I had a similar experience when a raucous family moved in next door, renting from a landlord who simply shrugged his shoulders at every complaint from me. I eventually sold the terraced house and now live in a detached. Best decision ever!

You have a choice: take legal advice, involve the local council, or simply sell up and leave. The trouble with selling, though, is having to persuade a potential buyer when he witnesses the kids running riot outside.

You're in a sticky situation, unfortunately. Being a single man you might be better off buying a flat in a 'posh' block with mostly professional people, as the neighbours are likely to be better and less chance of kids.

Report to council, landlord, letting agent and, if necessary, police.

But please omit from your complaints the "polish" family as, whatever your feelings are, this will come across as racist and may end up putting you on the back foot in respect of getting your complaints dealt with seriously. X

Why? There is nothing racist in mentioning the nationality of the troublemakers. I feel it's perfectly relevant and should be mentioned. I suggest you stop making assumptions on the basis of your own political beliefs.

I fail to see how their nationality is relevant. It gives your post undertones of racism.

It's perfectly relevant as it demonstrates that many members of the immigrant community seem to be incapable of behaving in a socially acceptable way. Sorry - it needs to be mentioned.

The moral police scared them off..

Political correctness police. This is when the moderators should step in and steer the thread towards the issue under discussion.

Judging by that response, I would bet my piggy bank that it would be you sir who would opt to use your fists.

Meat-head worldview? You have meat and head on the mind eh?

Also, learn the difference between the word prejudice (the new racist) and factual (the truth).

I too am British and work for an international organisation, your blinkered rose tinted view does not reflect reality. But just how does working in the ar*ehole of Switzerland qualify you for anything? In fact why mention it?

The OP was correct to highlight the nationality.

I'm curious, has any of the PC brigade on this thread observed how things are dealt with in the Ukraine?

Ar*ehole of Switzerland?? :rotfl: You obviously don't get out much. It's one of the most scenically beautiful places with the highest standards of living in the world. But I digress. I mentioned it because it is also the European country with highest immigration and there are lots of nationalities here, including a sizable number of Poles. Saying it is in their nature to solve problems with violence is just your opinion; it doesn't make it true.
Remember Occam's Razor - the simplest explanation is usually the right one. :)

I would be interested in your statistical data for this claim.

As soon as I heard the word Polish I lost sympathy, people are PEOPLE, the same all over. I have sympathy for the situation BUT anger for the mention of the word Polish. ALL the Polish I have met are really nice.
You're angry because someone uses the word Polish...oh dear
