Who cares? the OP has told everyone that they were simply describing the family next door, and as someone previously mentioned, the fact they're not British may in fact be relevant (cultural or linguistic differences).
Time to get off high horses and either help the OP or stop posting...0 -
Just put your house up for sale and move now. It could be that buy to let blight is starting to infest your neighbourhood. It happens in the best of areas.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Why?
West Mercia Police have put up no drinking signs in English and Polish in the city centre of Worcester. Does that mean they 'come across as racist' OR that they recognise the cultural change?
Also, don't be so quick to use the term 'racist'. The term was invented by one of the founding fathers of the Soviet Union, a power which dominated Poland for a long time.0 -

You need to widen your mind to the reality of today's Britain and mix in some common sense with that too. The OP would never have wrote 'White British' or Black British (note I don't quote you on that) because the cultural reference is the same. So no need to mention it.
In the rest of this so called EU, nationalities are commonly referred to without such an explosion of political correctness which we have seen on this thread. Particularly in France where on one occasion a Roune Officer was constantly referring to me a "this white English guy". No problems there because I am a 'white English guy'.0 -
It is sadly perfectly true that if the OP were to mention that the family are Polish, some people at the council or police may see the complaint as racist and disregard it. There is nothing wrong in the OP being warned of this fact.0

Or perhaps the Council and/or the Police will assign the matter to someone in 'the know' with regards to the culture in Poland?
Are you aware that 'things' are dealt with differently in Poland?
You do know that the difference is called 'culture'?
Many Brits are experiencing the same as 'Ex-pats', I don't hear them playing the 'racist' card? In fact, many are told to 'fit in' or 'f - off'.0
