We're having a day of getting stuff out of the cellar to go to the tip. It's not going well... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Currently still on hold to BT who's spectacularly had two accounts running for me since we moved I've been querying it for months and finally got an answer.

Pah.

Avoiding the golf here is not too hard but the Ryder cup is on nearby.........

Us - visiting flat to do more painting/diy - visiting a new baby in hospital and not sure what else. Visitors taking us for f/c tonight

Wondering if this ever gets sorted if we'll ever get any sort of decent service from bt

Soup & Sandwiches? The fare is getting posher and posher in these parts! Can I add some chicken & leek pie to the mix - OH made enough to feed a small army! (Don't tell the girls - but the meat was red-stickers so we just had to.)

I'm amazed at the bounty your garden is still providing! Are you doing any preserving and/or freezing and/or drying?

As to 'BT' and 'decent' in the same sentence? Surely that's and oxymoron?

Weekend in these parts involves not clearing mum-in-law's house, we'll resume the deed after the funeral next week. The weekend will involve six job apps for back across the pond as it's recruitment season & I'm pining to go back home! (With OH before anyone asks!) Also the usual laundry, cooking, cleaning - creatures of habit in this house.

I applied for a p/t job yesterday and got told 'we've never had much luck with 'lasses' as the works very hard and physical'

Anyhows out for F&C last night with visitors very nice that was too.

They're off to the golf and I'm about to paint more of the fence.

Had to tell the chickens off for chasing the dogs.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

Todays plan - painting, washing, visit a new bubba, walk and grub with chums later on.

Taken a spag bog out the freezer, I know how to treat folks well eh? They even bought milk yesterday, nice folks indeed.

Have a great day. Planning on a NSD but we'll see how that pans out.

Well we wont get far, won't be buying anything posh, but we wont starve.

TRG treated me to 4x 66p cyclamens (Mr M) yesterday - have a look if you've a mind they're really bonnie.

Collecting poppy seeds from the peony poppy - if anyone wants some give me a PM or message me on the book. Its more red than pink in real life but its a beauty.

mmmmm Spag Bol - I'm coming to your's tonight - it's one of those things OH refuses to eat & I love - so we never cook it!

You've got a loverly list going there Pips - visiting with new bubbas is definately better than golf!

I'm still working on the applications today - made good progress yesterday - but a few essays to go - sigh! - about to put another load of laundry in - have made 2L of bone stock and it's chilling - grocery order put in - unfotunately we've run out of everything (except meat & eggs) the week before payday - poor timing that! - OH had to resort to the posh gifted meusli this morning for bf as we've not got any oatmeal! - He's got very simple tastes that man :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like the kind of place a civilised person wouldn't want to work anyway with that kind of attitude! :mad:
