Just applied for a job at a local university.

    Grand start to the day.

    Suns also out.

    Hope you're all good.

Time for a cuppa and a think of the tasks for the day methinks.

Morning Pips! Glad to see I was not the only one up at gawdforsaken o'clock!

Was actually up before the birds - watched through the window as they descended on the bird feeder while I was brushing my teeth!

Time for a cuppa again I think.

  • Another wee job applied for - only going for things that look interesting and float me boat accordingly.

I guess at the moment I have the luxury of time on my side and a forgiving partner.

    :)

Must get a wriggle on and do some paid work.

Can't keep the mutts in bonio's without some income.

Although I guess I could try and make them myself.......

    Home made dog biscuits.

  • Good luck with the job applications, Pips !

Speaking of HM doggie biscuits, there's a couple in our locality who make and sell the very same. They seem to do very well both in their physical shop and at craft & food fairs, so not as daft as it seems :)

Cripes! some people get up at funny hours on here :D 8am is just fine for me....:rotfl:

Yay for home made bonios - although I wouldn't be wasting peanut butter on unappreciative dogs! :D

Plain flour and water is what mine would be getting ;):D

So tea was a fabulous affair of frog dans la bog (again yes my son is home and he loves it too) and the recognition that I need to practice some actual 'summer' cooking.

    :)

    A NSD too.

Worked for a goodly amount of hours on womble project - hoping ot get some of my own work done tomorrow.

Two jobs applied for - one at a local university as a research assistant, one as a gardener/instructor for a well known charity, a wee bit further a field but commutable.

We all know that I loves the third sector I do.

Both caught me eye and are decently paid and interesting.

I'm so grateful I have the luxury of time and space to find something locally or develop me own wee business here.

    Clever gals. :A

Three sales last week so they're racking it in :D

Edibles in the garden seem to be putting on some growth in all this sunny weather.

I'm copying Greying today and doing my three things.

Today I'm totally grateful for friends who take the time to talk to you and tell you despite the common prognosis you're not actually a, mad, b, insane, c, a bad person.

I'm grateful for technology allowing me to have a job and communicate on joint work with someone 300 miles away.

I'm grateful for a nice space to work in, doors wide open, hounds for company, chickens chittering away.

And, of course, the productive garden.
