Ooh, that is indeed lovely Pippi! :j :j
Good grief, is that man STILL marching into your garden?!  Hope his wife can have a stern word, or else you might well have to get a large lock (and a more scary dog:rotfl: :rotfl: ) Can't be having your space invaded all the time - that's just NOT reasonable
And Mila, hope you get someone to come and talk to your friend soon xxx
I just ate an entire pack of biscuitsI mean, I did go to work all day and strip some wallpaper off te stairs and go and vote first, but even so

You barging neighbor sounds like a nutcase. I'm with starnac, you need trained guard chickens!:laugh:Overprepare, then go with the flow.

I've had a word with the girls. We'll see what they can do. Yum to the biscuits and yes the same man is still marching in getting cross when I don't let him fix my side of the fence. (sigh)
I'm going to take 6 crates of plants to a chum today which is nice for me finally to be able to do that for someone
And then perhaps pick up some bark and work more in the garden.
I'm preparing the veg beds mostly they're (currently) free of annual weeds (as they're still slumbering) and I've a few nasty perennials I'm slowly sorting out and wearing down.
The rasps are showing and the strawbs are all waking up, blue berry is budding up and the taybery/blackberries and the other berries (mini rasp) are all leafing up nicely.
I've been given either a stray tay or logan berry - we'll see what happens with that although I have to say the tayberry I got from Mr Aldi (£2) has been amazing. I think they are the new 'woolies' for plants.
Washing machine is on - need to feed myself all the mutts/chooks are done.
Washing out plants in the car then I'm off.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

A neighbour once decided to come round to ours via the back and marched straight in after opening our very tall side gate with a cheery "I did try ringing your bell".
She got a massive shock as both myself and HWTHMBO were outside in the alltogether catching some rays (on our backs). :rotfl:
Needless to say she calls over our gate "I say, are you there?" if she wants us now.
Perhaps it's a bit too cold in that there Scotchland for nekkid shenanigans at the moment...:eek:just in case you need to know:

So far I've had a chat with neighbours wife and asked if he can stop just marching into my garden, Im a delicate soul and I can't really cope with folks just charging in to my private space. He wants to dig some holes ot fix the fence. With my best elbows out, I have explained that I CAN dig a hole.
Like really.
Sweetpeas are half in and tatties are in. Shallots and onions to go in, I know its late but its been affy cauld.
I've watered the new beds in, built another one and got given some large window boxes from a friend moving, must pick up tomorrow.
My knee is oddly OK.
Also organising a few crates of plants to a chum tomorrow. All good garden karma.
Have sown peas (after soaking) and am germinating cerinthe, one of my favourites and loved by bees.
Hard to describe it - its grey and blue all at the same time.
And whilst its an annual, its a really free self seeder.
Gawgus
I may have a few extra and whilst its not 'edible' to me, the bees love it and will swoop into my garden.
win, win - simples
Delurking to say that I fell in love with Cerinthe at a NT property last year and bought some seeds, then became ill and did not sow them:eek:, not sowing any seeds this year at all as no-one to tend them and I will be away a lot again. Last week I wondered if you might like the seeds and some others I bought, but I cannot darned well find them:o:( Just as well I looked before I mentioned them to you. If you have any plants for sale after May is gone by (away) I may become a customer:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Maddie I think if you find them and sow them they'll do their own thing in your garden they're as tough as old boots - if you can be bothered.
If not remind me when you're back if these brutes aren't too large I can post you a few.
I do love them.
Starnac, given the age of the village our defribulator might get too well used. Maybe I'll just go into a vest, that might create enough of a stir.
