Good luck at the open day Pink
Oops, feeling guilty looking at your flylady messages PipsIm sat here waiting for the phone to ring after my job interview - ideal time to be doing a few kitchen missions! :rotfl: But it seems that no, I'm just going to sit here and stare at the phone like an idiot instead...

Hugs lovely. And yup good luck at the open day Pink I hope she likes it. Its a funny thing this parenting lark, when you do it right you get rewarded by them leaving and then coming back alot I hear!
Lots of my older friends have kids at home now post-uni - I wonder if that will be me in a bit?
Cheery just cos I write the list doesn't mean I do any actual fly-lady.
Today I'm working on report (still) and in pjs - so not that bad. Almost half way through.
Must check yesterdays list as i got a fair bit done. Didnt' end up with chinese but fish and chips from the local (not famous) chippy.
Car is now empty of wood but looks like there's been a muddy wood party in there on the blankets. Must clear that out.
Aside that I will remind us all that its family day today so have some fun time.
I also want to do my 'hour' house blessing today if I can.
The carpet cleaner also came. might play with that later.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Todays list is easy.
Finish report
get essential shopping
do some cleaning
move money.
Was really giving myself a hard time about being here yesterday, I've not much in the way of debt anymore but I think its important to remind yourself that losing the small things focus would probably be a bad thing and things would slide.
Made dinner last night from reduced tomatoes, reduced mince and garden veg. five decent portions for just under £1.12 we ate three (MIL here) and portioned up two for lunch. She asked why I took such time over meals and putting things in the freezer. I guess its just inherent now and I don't think its just my womble job, its being here.
I hate waste including spending money.......I guess sometimes folks just don't see the point.
Made me feel firstly a bit guilty for being so bottom like about it all, but also a bit guilty for buying reduced food when I guess now we could afford not to. But, I just can't.
Its not being mean, its being careful. I had to remind myself of that last night.

Yes, agree not mean but careful.
But I am getting meaner I think too.
Went to a Mr M late afternoon yesterday & got lots of lovely reductions.

Hey Beanie me to went to Sainsbugs in the land of lino and somehow turned up when lots of meat was 1.19 (pork mince, lamb mince, nice proper sausages, lots of fish) and lots of bread was 9p pitta to 20p max for sliced white. And indulged in a duck with pancakes etc for £5
So we've now a freezer so full we never need to shop again. but there was lots for everyone. Lady on the check out didn't seem too pleased.
But then when she rang it up said WOW thats a lot for your money.
I'm happy being careful. But, sometimes I must admit to thinking, no its not worth it.
Off to chop some wood whilst its still light. My friends salvaged decking won't chop itself.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thanks for all your kind wishes. The open day in Hull went well, but in truth I think it's a bit too far away for DD, especially as her BF is at uni in London. I feel completely wiped out today after all the driving and am hoping it hasn't caused a flare up of some tummy issues I have, only time will tell!
Hubby is cooking some half price lamb I got last week for a roast, the washing is all dry on the line, and I've got enough grub in the freezer to see me through the week so feet up now I think.
Well done Pip for your bargains, I've been shopping at a different supermarket the last few weeks and the difference in their markdowns from our local one is vast. I'm surprised they don't have clearer policies but I'm not complaining.Credit Card debt £10247.17 1/1/20200 -
