    Work done its gorgeous here so a bit of gardening at home now I think.. Report can wait til later.

    Picked some autumn rasps (late) and courgettes (marrows) fed hens kale and spinach.

    Lots of wood to chop or grass to cut......will go out and do a bit of both probably.

    Hope you're all good I'm home alone for tea - probably fish and tatties.

  • Walked dogs in limited light on beach and raided the reduced got some salad stuff for hens and tomatoes all at 19p so I've just frozen the tomatoes for makins sauces.

    Tired and arms aching. might have an early night.

    Here's my list

    Work 6 hours garden (paid I should have explained that bit)
    Work 2+ hours womble (paid)
    HM Meals although tonight MIL is coming and think DH wants a takeaway but that's his treat and will do a couple meals - when did portions get so big?
    Tidy up spare room - change bed, sort bathroom.
    Wood in from kitchen to living room - kitchen baskets are full to bursting due to a 2 hour chopping session last night.
    Must empty free wood (friends deck) in the car and stack for chopping
    Pick more veg found a monster courgette and more tomatoes - must make more pasta sauce
    Check through stores and make a list for weekend, need milk not sure what else. Probably bread and fruit.
    Check freezer - take out chook (the cooking kind) for Sunday
    15 mins flylady - and a quick once round if I have the energy
    Washing on and air dried empty airer and put away.
    Charge Ipad at work and listen to story book whilst propagating, long day otherwise
    Post some wild garlic to a friend - got spare
    Cut grass later if its dry enough might even be last cut.
    Heating still off but its chilly in morning
    Feed hens and chooks, walk mutts
    Check banks and move money if wages clear
    Put in weekly time sheet in garden for 24+ hours
    Find out which part of exhaust is sounding dodgy and see about a cheap part somewhere.....

    Well that's enough for now I think kettle on. 55 mins before I need to leave for work. Surely I can do some of that list.

  • Shining on Fly lady today our mission is to give our kitchen lights a quick dust and a swipe but be careful out there. No prizes for falling off the table or any of that nonsense.

    Golly you are a busy bird.
    I agree about the takeaway portions, the last time we had one I got a set meal for 2 and added a portion of chips, we didnt eat it all between 4 of us. I mean there was 8 spare ribs alone. what a waste they cause, DS reheated it the next day for his lunch and then I still threw some away.

    I'm heading up to Hull tonight with DD to go to the Uni open day tomorrow, I'm not keen on driving in the dark but needs must.

    I always feel your posts are where I will be in a few years once the kids have fled.
