Horray to invoices done & money winging it's way in - you KNOW it would rather be with you than with anyone else!;):D
Both of us got payed on Weds so just adjusting the budget as I'm £20 under what was expected - grrrr! - some sort of tax adjustment thingy happened! - I don't get it but OH says it's a normal thing to happen over the course of the year! Oh well all the bills are covered - a bit has gone to savings - a bit will go to debts and :T:Twe are not robbing peter to pay paul which is a vast inprovement over this time last year!
so flyladyish things - pile of shoes was tidied this morning - mailpile sorted last night after OH realized his new debit card was missing (i.e had not arrived)!!! - no magazines in this house - I kicked the habit a few years ago! (unless they are free - then they get read & recycled!) - no school paperwork - my two courses are being done online & no kiddies to contribute to the mess! (oh yah - and we still don't have a dining room table!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! The fact that most of your furniture is still packed RT means you are flying through the flylady tasks :rotfl: can't work out if it's cheating or genius????Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

ha ha - that's one is not packed - we just don't have one!
in the old place (which was quite tiny) the table was attached to the wall and folded away after use - seated 3 (maybe 4) - we also had a little kitchen table which seated the two of us.
here at the new place, our large farmhouse kitchen is still housing a few boxes, so we've not bought a dining table - the little kitchen table doubles as my desk on work at home days so gets cleared off quite regularly!
eventually we will actually purchase one that sits 6-8 or maybe even get one off of fleebay/fr33cycle - that might be a few months yet!!!
in the meantime - flylady is a breeze!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Hey up me ducks, what a day of rainy weather already!!!
Now where did yesterday, nay where did the weekend go?
RT I'm loving that you're half way there with flylady before you even start!and good on you for those piles. I think your giant shoe pile has moved in here. I really do think they breed and take the odd socks with them when they start a new family.
So yesterday, I can polish my fly lady halo I did sweep and mop the floor and even cleaned out the cooker stove ashes. And cleaned under the stove. Ergh. I didn't have dust bunnies I had woolly mamoths.
Here's what I'm getting though, if you've got five. I'm getting that it doesn't have to be perfect. Ie I mopped and swept AROUND the giant shoes and the dog beds, I didn't move the benches from under the kitchen table (8ft swedish shop, bargain corner RT) nor did I wipe down the sides of the cupboards. I just did what was easy and what I could before flopping on the sofa. So its not perfect but its clean (ish) and mopped.
The 'reboot the laundry' thing is really working for me. I do a load every day the machine is full (I have now encouraged OH to put the dirty stuff straight in there) so looks like we do 4-5 loads a week (he's a giant with giant clothes) and if i do it through the week, there's nothing to do at weekends.
Whilst there is still clutter here, it is reducing.
I even made a mind map of cleaning the house, room by room, once its decluttered. But don't tell anyone, it was a rainy day and its just too sad to think about having done that.
So that's what I think I'm getting from fly lady - an excuse to half do things, but actually give them a go at least.
And, I'm amazed how quickly some of these things are done. Floor 15 minutes, swept and mopped.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
