Aw Pippi lass, have a hug ((((((()))))))))))) You poor thing! Tis absolutely NOT acceptable to shout at a new volunteer (or anybody!) for forgetting your name!! Pah indeed. I confess I'd be having a tantrum at this point and wondering if they deserved my time  Grr. You curl up and have a hot chocolate (actually, not sure you'd like that - is there some kind of savory equivalent?? Hot cheese?? Bovril??)

Incidentally, I burst into tears at the gym this week because I was ONE minute late for spin class and someone had taken my space so there was no bike left for me, even though I'd booked in advance :o Sometimes things are just Too Much xxx
  • She was a little stressed......

I do like a good hot chocolate, not too sweet the Mr A ones in the sachets (10 for 99p, sugar free) are pretty nice.

Somedays cheery me love I think going home is safer and curling up. Hugs to you too.

I knew the speaker and he was really nice so that was lovely.

Fires on here. Brrrrr. Hope your paint is now dry.

    :D

TRG is awa' tae Norway soon. We all know what that means, MORE CHEESE!!

Did some shopping today in town (hen food £8) and grub (bread/juice/dry bits) £4.52

I think tea will be leftover fish curry.

Oh Pippi! I'm glad Cheery was here so soon after you posted, but really! Fancy shouting! Completely unacceptable :(

Its good that thoughts of hot chocolate and more cheese are helping :)

Garden planning sounds good. Will occupy your mind for quite a while yet I guess!

Yay to cheese! TRG always brings you back lovely goodies from "up north" doesn't he? Almost makes up for him being away I guess x

    ...a lady shouted at me...

    How totally rude!!!

:grouphug: Dodgy huggles for you! Terrible that anyone would shout for something that could have been handled politely with a smile!

On another note - isn't warm cheese a fondue? - yummy with bits of bread dipped in it - swedish style? - Cheery's onto something there!:D

  • Morning all!

Hope today is off to a better start all round with no unecessary shouting etc - Pips have you got your armour unpacked now?

Cool and wet here this morning but warmer than yesterday when we had the first frost. We missed fireworks last weekend (away) and will miss them this weekend (theatre) but we did get a couple of packs of sparklers to play with, then went inside and toasted marshmallows on the fire and drank hot chocolate.

More sorting required today, the place s a mess (even more than usual)!
  • Oh pips what a rotten thing to do to you. Shouting is unacceptable and I think that personally I would have walked out! I would have been tearful too :-(
    Hope all is well now...

Cold here today too and it's raining buckets. I have given up trying to do housework (at least all the ironing is finished) and am sitting watching TV with a lovely hot cuppa tea :-) fire on too :o

    Wrap up everyone x
