ETA hello KC missed you there.
Hope youre' good too. I think re the garden I'm biting the bullet and going for sleeper/wooden looke-likes and a big metal arbour in the middle to make a very formal veg garden right in the middle of my patch.

Hope you're good.
Bridge was OK think they're putting big bits on the new one and needed the old one to move things on.

The new bridge is fairly coming on all of a sudden.

Is still very jealous that you got to see those particular bands last night my darlingist :rotfl:
Tis chilly here.. I had said to dad that we wouldn't need the heating on until December - The joys of my age! I am like a radiator most of the time :A In the past has been me wanting heating on and dad saying no - the cost etc!! So imagine my surprise when he came down last night and asked me to put the timer on so heating is on for an hour in morning and and hour in the afternoon!!"Aunty C McB-Wik"

Frosty all the way down south this morning! My yacon plants are looking very sorry for themselves - I'll be able to dig up the tubers soon
Hope you had a good evening Pippi - any bonfires round your way?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Not frosty here but pigging freezing nonetheless.
Time to look out new slippers...0 -
Hey up all, hope you're all good whether you've got good internal or exteral heating going on, eh Wik
Beanie that bridge has sprung up. TRG works with a view to it so he hardly notices the changes.....
Moomin, gees a neb at yer new slippers.
Let us know what the plants/tubers taste like KC.
Today was a bit of volunteering and I'm thinking perhaps I might have left my 'armour of steel' up north cos a lady shouted at me for getting her name wrong and I had to run to the loo as I'd burst into tears.
Now, let me tell you, I am not a softie but neither am I use to being shouted at. OK so its annoying having someone get your name wrong but holy moly make a joke don't shout.
Someone else cancelled a meeting with me to help on some interpretation for the gardens without telling me.
All in all aside a great talk on gingers a really carp start to the day, which if you factor in the petrol I paid to get there, I paid for.
Came home all of a wibblesome so cleaned the kitchen which is now sparkling and getting on with some (voluntary) spreadsheet work for the same garden.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
