Why oh why are all the threads lately becoming  no, no apology, absolutely bonkers:)
My thoughts too.
Heaven help us when the school holidays start.....
Re this thread - the OP advised her friend's sister to 'get over it'.
Why start a thread to ask people's opinions when it's clearly (at least to me and everybody else who's replied) the most stupid reaction to a non-event ever?0 -
The Hotel we used 21 years ago for our wedding has been used by our family for countless celebrations ever since and I just love it when I'm invited there! Maybe we should be on commission! Some people are nut jobs.0
-
In any event, just because the bride hadn't heard of the venue before booking her wedding, it doesn't necessarily mean that her cousin wasn't already very familiar with the place. If it was only 10 miles away, it can't have been unknown territory to all the wedding guests0
-
Plus, How much hard work did she actually do? Its only 10 miles away its not like she scoured the whole country!0

It's the heat. We're not used to having temperatures in double figures in this country. Some people's brains go like melted icecream in this weather, and this sort of reaction happens.
Still, look on the bright side, unlike the poor unfortunate OP's friend, at least we're not related to the woman.Make £2025 in 2025

I asked people's opinions to see what they thought.
I did think it was a bit ott but I do know there are other issues between the two of them which probably has made her fixate on this perceived slight. Also most people seem to think it is a 9 on the scale of 'monster raving loony' whereas I think its more of a 6.0 -

Can someone tell me please how I make a complaint on here?
I want to complain about people posting on the moneysavingexpert website, that I have put some good posts on.
Frankly, I'm incensed, and furious. I have barely been sleeping at night! How DARE people register on here and post on here after I found this website?!
Someone please advise. Thanking you in advance.
Edited to say: I want an apology too. In writing.0 -
First world "problems" - honestly, she needs to get a hobby that is not being a self-important twit.
Any normal person would take it as a compliment, not as a slight. Some quality replies in this threadThinking critically since 1996....0 -
haha this thread gave me a good laugh - can't believe there are people out there that think so much of themselves..i used a venue for one of my wedding events that was later used by a relative for a first birthday party - I was really pleased and glad that the effort id gone to to find it was put to good use again
to answer OPs question, completely unreasonable and moreover very self centred to expect an apology?? or even thanks imo
OP i hope you show her this thread or tell her peoples reactions so she gets a clueWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.
