Good morning sorry it's do early. It's calm before the storm . The wedding is today and we have been roped in to collect the flowers!
I just wanted to check in and tell you about this house. It's an old bank converted into this amazing house. OH's parents have rented it. It doesn't look anything special on the outside. But when you go inside it is huge. There are five bedrooms three bathrooms and an amazing dining room and living room. We are in the room with the chandeliers and four poster bed. The furniture is amazing and there are decanters of port and whiskey in each room.
I might get OH on board after being in this house. We had the rehearsal was in a really lovely church. Sorry nothing MSE we just got some motivation tho0 -
Sounds amazing! Have a great weekend.0

Good Morning. So the wedding went well we had sunshine at the right times. Also it wasn't as expensive as I thought there was lots of food and free drink. Yesterday we helped clear away the hallway where the reception was. So yesterday was a NSD
I also got to speak to someone who is experienced in HR. So I will be putting things into place this week.0 -
Good Morning. Friday has come quick this week. I've been spending low this week. Instead of buying lunch I have been buying a top up to my lunch brought from home as we were low on supplies this week.
I got some good news yesterday too instead of paying £100 for rent of house at the wedding I get to pay £60. OH also agreed it would come out of our joint account as all bills are really low this month. Also with a bit of meal planning we can manage it.
I have also been writing my CV I am taking my time with it so it looks good and I can feel confident applying for jobs.
I also finished the Rules of Wealth which was interesting but he contradicts himself a lot. I would recommend it as the advice on investing in the stock market is quite good. I'm now reading the Millionaire Next Door.0 -
Hi everyone. It's been a quiet week so far looking at my second NSD but I have the Dentist this evening so that could change
The weekend spending wise was low considering I had a work do do in total £30 including drinks and hangover cure. I was under budget by £10
OH and I have now started to look at flats. I contacted the Agency and they have advised to hand in out notice once we find somewhere - but they would wouldn't they? We need to find somewhere soon. But I am thinking do we take a chance and hand in our notice? What do you guys think?0 -
Well the Dentist didn't cost me too much a filing and a scale and polish £27.92 later so I'll do that next week.
I am trying to think of things I could do next week as I have the week off and a trip to London to meet friends! A nice break hopefully that will satisfy my need to have a holiday. So I am going to have to spend nothing the first half of the week which won't be easy0 -
Have you any plans whilst in London? To save money, you could do a search on what's on for free during your time there. I'm sure there must be loads going on right now.0

Delurking - just a thought have you signed up for a waitrose reward card - you can get a free coffee every day. Also John Lewis reward card- get vouchers for a free hot drink and cake once a month. Might save a few pennies0

I'm interested in this too,
good luck, even though I am looking for a weekday job and have a weekend job, I still would like to make money on the side, not a lot but just a little extra by opening up an online shop to sell my photography and other stuff.
You seem really dedicated and I love it,
I'm also from the alternative side of life (for a better way of putting it)
