Hi everyone, thanks for posting it means so much to me that people are reading this thread of babble.
Let stick on the Rock n Roll
So November has been a great month. I achieved 12 NSD's, hit the £7k target, OH and I also hit the £2k mark with the Flat fund having underspent for the month. The reading etc didn't quite happen but I hope to get selling in January although I am expecting that to be slow at first. I am very close to hitting the £20 in vouchers goal too!
So overall a productive month. :T0 -
Hi all, we had some friends over today so a NSD it was.
I also claimed £5 Amazon voucher too. I will be back later with Decembers goals.0 -

I have applied for a First direct current account alongside its Saving account, I should know I have been accepted in the next 48 hours. There's a £125 bonus if I am accepted too
I am on two NSD's with more to come and I have started in my Christmas shopping thanks to my vouchers.
Next stop our electric bill is too high so I will do that tomorrow.0 -

Hi everyone, I think the only thing I was successful with was changing my current account.
I am up to 11 NSD's so far, they really do make a difference.
I have £10 in vouchers for Christmas that have been spent.
I am considering January's goal now, I think that I need to focus on my saving, decluttering the spare room we are paying £200 extra a month for  so it can be utilised and selling stuff.
I also know I need to do a lot more but I have come far this year. I have cut down on most spedning like lunches and take aways. I have saved a lot more money than hoped and changed my accounts.
Roll on 2015...:)0 -

It's a journey. You have started down the right road and every step is building your future. I have received a great book for Christmas- The Complete Tightwad Gazette! I'll let you know if it's worth reading, but judging from my quick flick, it looks to be chocka full of great moneysaving tips! Merry ChristmasMinimalist

Hi gothrockchick1, I've made my first commitment to 2015 by signing up and joining this site - I was a bit overwhelmed on where to start but since reading your thread you've now got me up and running :-) Thank you xx After thinking NSD was no smoking days, I've since realised it might be No Spending Days?
I am planning on saving money first and spending as least out as possible. To start of with I am aiming to do the following;
1. No buying bottles of wine during January (or drinking at all for that matter!)
2. Using up every bit of food in the cupboards, fridge, freezer etc
3. Plan meals to go together with whatever I already have in.
4. Have as many 'no spending days' as possible.
5. No chippy teas!
Not much just yet, but as I said - for me its a start to be able to just not spend money!
Thank you for the motivation so far, looking forward to following your journey :-)
