Been to town and got lots of errands sorted but no present for my mum. Cards got though and a jug for myself which I have been trying to get for ages.

Went to Mr W for my shopping and spent way too much, Mr L again from tomorrow!

Washing dry so I'll get that in, bake a cake for gov meeting and make sure all my papers are sorted as I need to leave at 5 to drop DS3 for cricket.

do we get a photo of the window when its finished nicki?

    No problem ;) :rotfl:

Well the majority of the washing up is done (just 2 big pans which won't fit in the drainer left ;)), all the cupboards/appliances/worktops are wiped down and washing has been juggled. Can't do any more out there for now so going to do some more painting on the window while I wait for DD to come home.

DD has just text to say she's on her way and wants to go to a particular shop on her way home, but got the 'wrong' bus (to go to that shop on her way home), seems she can't put her brain into gear to realise if she goes right when she gets off the bus and walks down the road (one we cover with work) then she'll still be able to go to said shop instead of coming home first :rotfl::rotfl: I sometimes wonder if I should get a tattoo of the local area put on her forearm due to the number of times she gets 'lost' :rotfl::rotfl:

Washing juggling time, then I'll wield the white paint again ;)

DS3 fed and dropped at cricket
    Mogs fed
DS2 cooking his dinner and instructed to finish the washing up

Just need my cake to finish cooking them away to Gov meeting - shame on such a lovely evening.

    Hi.
I would like to join in please.
I have fibromyalgia and suffer a lot with fatigue so the house has been neglected a lot lately. I need to start sorting it out though, especially the cupboard of doom but that is such a large, terrifying job to undertake.
Getting started is the first hurdle to overcome - where to start? I think the kitchen needs a good sort through so perhaps that will be my aim for this week.
Does everyone manage to get the whole house done in the week? I would love a tidy house :o

I think you are right - the first hurdle is to start somewhere and don't be overwhelmed by it all.

I think it is possible to have a whole house that looks tidy by the end of the week. That is basically what I attempted the first week and didn't really go into cupboards etc. Then I have tried to keep tidy and tackle a bit of deeper cleaning each week as I go along.

It does seem to get easier and being on this thread really helps as it is so supportive, friendly and motivational. It helps you concentrate on getting each room really clean as the weeks go past.

I am now not too bad apart from my Room of Doom (spare bedroom/study) which I'm trying to nibble at week by week :rotfl:

If it's gone I've done it or I don't have it

Muggles Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining Room
    30 minutes to spare...

Wipe the little appliances and put them back in their homes
Wipe over the cupboards and large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Got an hour...
    Thoroughly clean the cereal/baking
Wipe the inside doors.. inside.. and out!!
    Extras
    HHI
Fill a bag for charity shop
Deweb the downstairs of the house!!
Wipe out the fridge.. meal plan for June!
    Scrub the sink and tiles
    Clean the lightshades
Bake a cake/buns or prepare a new meal for our family!

    My challenges for June:
Do some exercise every day, even if it's just taking DD to the park.
Make sure I get the referrals DD and I both need.
Meal plan and stick to grocery budget
Get rid of the evil overdraft
Send letters to P and D
    Arrange a visit to family
Try to lose 1kg in preparation for the July wedding

Have done a bit but haven't managed a huge amount due to it being one of *those* days with Squish. I have a driving lesson tomorrow morning so M&D are watching Noo, so tomorrow's probably going to be a slow one too. Oh, and I have almost £200 to pay for lessons (cheaper to pay for a block than to pay hourly). To top it off DH has called to say he's going to be late home as he's 'going for a pint' with a colleague... BUM!
