Happy anniversary, Kaz! I don't fancy that cat's chances today. Pic of the chariot when finished please, Ionafan and I hope the scan result is helpful. Itsa, it all gradually falls into place, but as Toots says in her lovely Welcome guide,

"Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself -we have all tried it! BABYSTEPS -little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement."

DW on, SC with second batch of yoghurt on, breadmaker on, dog walked, breakfast scoffed and kitchen tidied. I'd put the WM on, but the forecast is merde.
    Better is good enough.

Chimney swept.. *bliss* .. it is going to be £85 to cap the leaky pot!! ... I now need to find a stove/fire/something.

OH cleared worksurface and sills to put up blinds.. FINALLY... but we appear to have mislaid the fixings for the small one.. holes can be drilled still until they turn up so all is not yet lost.

Shopping done. DS2 just text to say this mornings exams have gone well. Fingers crossed for this afternon.

Time for a cuppa and put the rest of the shopping away before he paid stuff.

Karma didn't work for me today. Stopped the post van and took in parcels for neighbours both sides. Just got back to say I missed the delivery of our parcel so I need to go to the sorting office myself later.

Plans all change here today, car dropped off at 11.40 for its MOT and service and I've already been on four different buses and trains. Engagement ring collected from its service too (one of the diamonds was a teeny bit loose) so my hand no longer feels semi-naked :) There's no point in me going home before I collect DS2 as there is a station about half a mile from school, as opposed to a two mile walk from home. We will have to walk back though, he is thrilled at the prospect :D

So, I'm sitting in $tarbuck$ in the bullring with a huge skinny latte and some chocolate chunk shortbread :o twisted logic there! Once home I need to prep dinner then catch a rush hour bus back to the garage to collect my car.

I've thought about flying, does that count?!

I have hoovered tweetie pies remains from under the table and gone round all the skirting boards on my hands and knees with the Hoover.
All sofa covers washed and drying on the line. Another load in TD as line's full. Washing folded and ready to go upstairs. Supping a coffee and watching tv. Oh lazy, lazy me!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon.

Accounts up to date (as much as they can be anyway :p) and money transferred to savings account ready to buy school uniform during the holidays :j My bed is made, and the towels have all been washed but I'm having to re-spin them in separate loads as it was too heavy to spin properly :o Lunch munched and I'm going to try to get all the printing I need to do done, or at least set up ready to print when I've replaced the ink cartridges ;) I'm running them right down before changing them, black stuff is now printing out brown :rotfl: Later
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
