Oh my goodness. We got off lightly. Lots of red kites round here but they are too big to fit through the window. Lots of people around here are leaving chicken carcasses out in the hope of seeing them close up! Hope they don't end up in their houses. What a mess they would leave behind.

First job of the day is to skin the cat! She woke me at 2am with funny noises. I then got up at about 2:30 and found a mouse under the bin in the bathroom. I got rid of that and found a ton of feathers under the DR table. An hour later, I was about to head to bed when I then found a dead bird (separate lot of feathers as door was shut :() on the kitchen floor. So I cleared that up. Then the darn thing brought in another mouse- !!!!!!! I have been up all night now as I get to that point where I am in "night mode" and then can't sleep.
Oh well, if I run around all day today doing jobs, I should sleep really, really well tonight!

    Good morning all.
kaz, any chance of catching up on some sleep today? I hate it when our cat brings things in, I've had to chase mice, birds, frogs and a stoat!
Yesterday was spent going to sp@rts direct, t@sco, home for cup of tea, asd@and m@talan. I almost have the kids outfits for Thursday, except the Greece one, so hard to find anything.
Then we had the biggest storm I have seen in a long time, found out we needed the roof repairing when it was coming through the boys ceiling.
Had to fetch kiddies early as the school flooded so everything went out of the windows. I have a list that needs sorting today, I couldn't do it yesterday as I still haven't found my new bank card, so first job today is sorting through paperwork.
Right better go get some kiddies ready for school and get some washing out while the sun is shining.

    Debt Jan 25 £8282
Mortgage £51215. Total debt now £59497

    Morning everyone

I only managed the basics yesterday because paid stuff got in the way but will catch up today. I was thinking about what Itsa and SandBsMum have said about how hard it is to get things done (especially with little ones around or a busy life generally). I have been making myself stick to this flylady stuff since the beginning of the year and doing a little every day definitely helps.

My house is not perfect (and actually it needs some money spending on it which doesnt help) but its a lot tidier than it used to be!

So, packed lunch to do, breakfasts to sort, shower and dressed, chicken out of freezer for tea then off to work.

Oh and Lynne, I always say this to anyone creative because I am hopeless but a chariot out of balsa, wow. We need a pic of the finished article!

    Morning all

Posting from my phone which is very weird lol

Today's plan is to have a bath, change my bed (it's already stripped) and get on with paperwork for a bit this morning & then do some more on the window. I looked at the shadows being cast on the blinds this morning & inspiration hit. It means undoing some of yesterday's work but it'd look even better than it does now. ;) It also means me printing & cutting more but I'm not doing it until I've got finances up to date & sent the email I have to send.

Off to boot up my laptop so that can do its checks while I have my bath, then I'll be able to get stuck in ;) Laters

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I could catch up on sleep today but then will just be awake tonight and so it continues!
I have changed my sofa covers and have the others in the WM at the mo. Annoyingly, it ripped down a seam when I was taking it off so I'll have to try and repair that at some point.
DS will be leaving for school shortly so I can get on and wash the floor. Was going to do it earlier but couldn't get the end of the mop off so will do on hands and knees. Also need to stock up on WU liquid as I think we're out.
The cat looks disgusted by the new sofa covers (which even smelled pink!) and is sulking underneath the DR table - pah!
